13E: Cyfrowa Polsat Changed of FEC on another transponder
Poland's largest satellite pay-TV Cyfrowa Polsat today went to a planned adaptation of another of his FEC DVB-S transponder. Change affected subscribers as packet Cyfrowa Polsat, Cyfra, TP and the audience FTA programs.
Multiplex platforms Cyfrowa Polsat contains station Polsat, Polsat 2 Polsat Play, News Polsat, Polsat Sport, Polsat Sport Extra (all encrypted) and also freely broadcast stations TV Biznes.
Technical parameters:
Hot Bird 6 (13°E) freq 11.158 GHz, pol. V, SR 27500, FEC 5/6, DVB-S/QPSK
FEC with the above-mentioned transponder changed from 3/4 to 5/6, thereby increasing the multiplex capacity of approximately 4 Mbit/s. Capacity obtained can be used for launching new services or improve existing programs provided.
