I have tried the Astonjtag prog using two different Jtags, one Jtag patel made by pcwire and another home made jtag. Both the jtags have worked in the past but not this time

The toshiba flash chip was dead so we removed it and replaced it with another chip already flashed with a boot and then flashed a firmware onto the receiver using serial download. It all works ok now
Aston Cam

I haven't been in touch with satellite viewing since Seca I gave place to Seca II and all the interesting channels in Astra such as Taquilla became locked. It's quite a while since then and I gess that my equipment is now something suitable for the stone age. I got A Technisat TechniBox Cam 1 Plus receiver with a Aston 1.5 Cam, as well as a Crypto Works Cam, a few gold cards and a Millennium programmer.
As far as I could understand Seca II is now cracked. Is it true? Which channels? Is it Taquilla cracked? Whatelse can I get from Astra that is cracked? Can I still use my Aston Cam and cards or do I need to upgrade all the equipment or some of them?
Any help will be very much appreciated.

is it possible to watch italian or dutch channels with a simba 201 ?.Maybe we have to resign ourselves ,and "learn " spanish or portuguese and a little of french

Hi, can some one explain more about the post from the doc:

What does it means by downloading the updates, as far i know these version are official ones.
