I am based in South Africa, and recently Sirius4(Astra4) @ 4.8E has started broadcasting a pay channel into the area who use DVB-S2 Mpeg4 Videoguard.
My Question: Does anyone have knowledge of a receiver that can be used with the Supplied smart card?
If you do not know the system in use, it is similar to SkyB. The card is married to the receiver as well.
The reason is that (costing +/- U$D70 and on special currently U$D40) it very basic with NO PVR or Dual view etc......seems like a toy.
I would prefer a unit with PVR and if possible be able to view 2 tv
NO DREAMBOXES please...
