G'Day "kip", do you want the bad news first or the worse news.
If you activate your card with just your home addy, they will only give you the channels applicable to your state/area. The best way around this is to buy a(alledged) mobile home and tell them you are going on a(alledged) long service leave trip around Australia. Even then they try to tell you to ring when you cross borders. Of course you do not have a mobile phone and don't think you will be able to find a phone when you make an overnight stop. You'd think they were giving away the keys to Fort Knox.
Maybe some good keys will turn up soon.

    Kindest Regards, Bill.

Hey kip, If you swing your dish over to B1 you'l probably finish up with more channels than that $112 card will give you, plus every nown and again extras to watch.

Thanks bill, for that info, will do.. and for anyone out there with a new optus card, forget about wasting your time phoning them to activate it, you have to send the details to [email protected] exactly in the following way

    Smartcard Number:

    First Name:

    Surname:

    Postcode:

    City/Suburb:

    Street addr:

    Phone No:

    Decoder Type:

    otherwise they wont activate it.
And message the email as RESEND for quicker activation.

    Cheers people

Keys stopped rolling after three weeks. So is that it or will they roll them again sooner rather than later?

It does seem a little bit funny.

There seemed to be the odd bit of info (re K3Y5) showed up here and there, but then everything disappeared just as quick and the next thing, the carousel is on again!

    Re: iderto 1 dead

OK, so I'm thinking about getting a card (yeah, forking out $) so that I can watch the channels over here in NZ. I thought I would use my brother's address in Perth for the activation BUT as I understand it, they won't activate cards unless you're in remote outback locations. Would they activate a card if I give my brother's address in Perth?

    What do ya reckon?
    TIA.
