Pastore admits Barca dream

Youngster keen on move to Spanish champions



Argentine Palermo midfielder Javier Pastore has revealed his ambition to play for Barcelona.
The 21-year-old, who arrived at Palermo from native outfit Talleres last year, has established himself as a first-team regular at the Serie A club.
But the Argentina international admits he dreams of plying his trade with the Spanish champions in the Primera Liga alongside the likes of Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta and Xavi.
"It would be a dream to play with Messi in Barcelona, a club much bigger than Palermo," Pastore told El Mundo Deportivo.
"It's what I want. I always dreamed of playing in Europe and now I'm here I want to keep growing and I know that to do this I have to play in clubs like Barcelona.

Hahnemann eyes MLS return

American stopper to consider options

Wolves goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann admits he could move to the MLS when his contract expires.
The 38-year-old shot-stopper's current deal at Molineux is set to finish at the end of the season and a return to his native United States could be on the cards.
Hahnemann, who moved to the Midlands outfit after a spell at Reading, says he will make the decision with his family but is not ruling anything out.
"I'll see what the team and what the family want to do," he told the Sunday Mercury.
"There are two new MLS teams - one in Portland and one in Vancouver - and I don't know if it is time (to return).
"Seattle has a team now - and Seattle is my home town. Kasey Keller is there now playing at the age of 40.
"My first pro team was the Seattle Sounders before the MLS was around in 1994.
"There might be a combination of things that could happen. Initially when I came to England the thought was that I'd go back and play in the MLS. So who knows?"
Hahnemann has started every Premier League game for Mick McCarthy's men this season as they look to climb their way up the table.

Polanski earns Mainz move

Getafe agree to let midfielder stay on

Eugen Polanski has signed a permanent deal with Mainz after a successful loan spell from Getafe.
The 24-year-old was loaned from the Spanish club until next June, but he has now agreed on a new three-year contract with the Bundesliga side and will not be returning to Spain next summer.
The midfielder was delighted to earn a full-time stay at Mainz.
"Mainz is an excellent club for me," said Polanski. "Next year, we will move to a fantastic brand new stadium and I feel very happy in the region with my family.
"I am really glad to have completed this transfer so soon as this gives me room to plan beyond next summer."

Reynolds ignoring speculation

Well defender not looking too far into the future

Motherwell defender Mark Reynolds is ignoring speculation on his future and is focusing on playing his best for the SPL club.
The 23-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and is being linked with a move away from Fir Park in January.
Reynolds is not being sidetracked by the possibility of moving on, stating he will listen to managerial duo Craig Brown and Archie Knox as and when the time comes.
He has previously been wanted by Rangers and the towering defender knows he may have a decision to make when the January transfer reopens.
