dream box 500s do i need a card share sub?

I'm thinking of buying a dream box 500s to get sky TV will I need to pay a card sharing subscription? Or can it be done for free?
Any advice appreciated.

Usually you can find a free exchange. Now if you can't exchange anything that will be difficult but not impossible.

To put it simply, someone has a sky-uk card and would like to watch sky-it channels.
Another guy has sky-it and is searching for sky-uk.
Exchange the cards is a fair process of give and take between these 2 guys.
By contrast, if someone has no card(s) to offer, it will be difficult
to find a "free 2 use" partner.

we don't comment here on "subscribe to a card sharing server", read the rules of the forum please. if what you're looking for is only that, this is not the place you will find what you're looking for. otherwise, if you really want to SHARE something, you will find lot's of informations here to begin and several exchange sections to find peers.

Sorry about that, I'm new to dream boxes and card sharing, as I used to have a Humax 5400, but there's nothing much on their anymore, will I need anything else on the dreambox 500s apart from Gemini image and cccam to start? I will check out the exchange sections
