Bricked Dreambox 600 PVR ?

Hi all,

Long time viewer of the site, so apologies that my 2nd post is asking for help.

I recently flash updated via the box http option the below build on a brand new out of the box 600 PVR, which had no HDD.

DM600pvr Enigma2 Enigma1 Combined Image Pcd 4.1

When getting to the very important part of the instructions I stuffed up and chose the incorrect CF option assuming it was internal memory.

The box is now in a loop cycle on the loading screen.

Does anyone know if this recoverable as the Ethernet option no longer works.

I am trying to get a serial cable to see if I can communicate with the box.

As I am at work and cannot do anything about it until tonight, its killing me not knowing if i destroyed the box or not.

I think the browser method also works in these near-brick situations. Can't remember which button on the 600 (probably the standby button) but pull out power cord, hold button in reinsert power and check your router (or what ever DHCP server you are using) to see what IP it has given it and use firefox to go to the address.
