Orange plans a €3 increase of triple-play fee

In an attempt to mitigate the increase in VAT on triple plays services from 5.5 % to 19.6 % as decided by the French government and voted in by the country’s Parliament, Orange is to raise subscription charges by up to €3 each month.

This increase will become effective as of 1 February and will make Orange the first operator to officially disclose how much the VAT raise will affect the 11 million triple play consumers’ affected in France.

The move marks the end of triple-play offers priced under the symbolic fare of €30.
