Croatia’s B.net acquires Total TV DTH platform


Croatian cable operator B.net has, through its Austrian owner BEWAG Group, acquired DTH platform Total TV Croatia from private-equity group Mid Europa Partners.
The deal sees B.net take over all operations of Total TV Croatia, and the two operations will be integrated under the B.net Total TV brand. The move means that B.net will be able to market its programming packages via both cable and DTH.

Mid Europa Partners is the owner of cable and pay TV operator SBB Serbia Broadband, which operates the Total TV service elsewhere in the region, and cable operators Telemach Slovenia and Telemach Bosnia and Herzegovina.
