ESPN declares interest in Orange Sport

US group ESPN is the third potential buyer of France Télécom subsidiary Orange’s TV channel Orange Sport.

The sports chanel has been up for sale for a number of months, as reported by RapidTV News, and has attracted a number of bids from key players most principally Eurosport and the French Football League.

France Télécom CEO Stéphane Richard confirmed this news at Paris-based LeWeb conference adding that no offer has been made yet.
