hi mate i read your posts , have you had any luck putting c line onto your dreamer 500hd box im stuck cant put it on to mine either

Hi everyone. I just got my Dreamer 500HD yesterday, and i couldn't get CCCam working straight away. After browsing around google and other sites I managed to get it working

Here's what I did:

1.Downloaded the latest March 2011 update for the box(attached file).
2.Created a new notepad file and added one line to it:

c:[SPACE][Server Address][SPACE][PORT Number][SPACE][username][SPACE][password][SPACE]yes

so for example:

C: fakeserver.org 12500 johnsmith abcd1234 yes

Save this as softcam.cfg

3.Now depending on your file and folder settings the file may show as

softcam.cfg.txt

Rename it to softcam.cfg so it simple shows as

softcam.cfg

4. Copy "softcam.cfg onto a USB stick and from the attached zip file copy the folder called files and file called encrypted.key onto the USB stick as well.
5. Insert into the box
6. Go to Menu on the box>USB Function>Browse the USB stick and go to the "files" directory. Select "rootfs_cramfs.stb225-nand.bin" and select the software option that appears.
The box will install the software and restart itself. Now go to Menu on the box>USB Function>Browse the USB stick and select the encrypted.key and it should say "Succcess" and the box will reboot
7. Go to Menu>Settings>SoftCam setup. Press the Red button(Import) and your softcam.cfg should automatically be Imported into the box. Press the Blue button and now try to go on a channel that requires your CCCam line.

I've also attached a softcam.cfg into the zip for those who are struggling with that. Simply open the file with notepad and edit the values to represent your CCCam details.

I have a dreamer 500hd,I have been using it for some time now but recently I discovered that some channels are no longer clearing with cardsharing while few others are ok on the same package,also on hortbird only jsc+ i clearing,while others are not. But when use the same cline on other receivers all the channels are ok. What must have been the cause?

dreamer 500 hd is perfect even better than 800 hd or 500 hd I have two of them and I cannot belive how fast dreamer open channel and the picture is PERFECT
It also works on enigma 2 v3 for dm 500 hd
if you can buy this its very simple to use it workg great

I have two of them here dreamer 500 hd and dreambox 500hd when you open them and look at them exactly the same this enigma also works ON DREAMER

its very simple very easy there is no problems with this image or later ones or enigma 2

hi there mate how do i put this enigma 2 onto the dreamer box , do i do a factory reset ??? i have its own image just now my model is also a avbox model thanks

Don`t try this... Dreamer don´t support enigma 2. This is really a shitty box.

I found a file named sim201_boot82_DM800.rar with 2 files inside: sim201-boot82.bin, sim201-boot82.nfi, in the official page

anyone can explain what to do with this files?

Check your dreamer version, if u have a avbox 1.1, you can delete the official page of dreamer...
