Albanian satellite platform DigitAlb signed a contract for satellite capacity from the French company Eutelsat Communications . The company has extended in this way for three more years, until June 2020, his contract with the operator of the five transponders on the satellites at the orbital position 16E . Pay TV platform DigitAlb , launched in December 2004, offers a number of Albanian and international channels, and works closely with the sports package SuperSport Albania .
This allows us to offer broadcasts of football and basketball, as well as the Grand Prix. HDTV is a strong element of the platform. Package Premium HD consists of eight HD channels, in addition to 54 premium channels and 5 channels of SuperSport. The platform has more than 300,000 DTH subscribers , both in Albania, as elsewhere in Europe.
