Three new regions switch on digital

French regions Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Haute-Normandie and Picardie will complete digital switchover on 1,2 February.

The transition concerns 8 million viewers. Following these three regions, 28 millions people from metropolitan France will receive digital television.



Owing to the switchover calendar, Paris region Ile-de-France, populated with 12 million inhabitants, is the next region for the upgrade .
