hi.
I've emailed the distributors today,to find out the situation about the sex view channels.
Last week I was told there was to be an upgrade so we could get the channels back
But this has not happened, and i've still got 8 months left on my subscription.
I'm not letting them get away with this,so I'll keep everyone posted when I get information from them.

got mine to update last week. left it on DP for about
20 min but i have only got 3 out of the 4 DP 24/7 &
sex view plus.was told the 4th is the promo ch & looks
like mid may before we get it

My reality cam is still not updating ,sex view comes on for 10 seconds then goes blank
I,ve left it on the DP channel for 30minutes but still no luck

I clear with my 2+ reality DPTV and 247 on new freq.
4+ reality cams should also clear sexview+.
Sexview will be FTA for some period to serve as a promo channel.

I think reality team just turned on the SHL encryption for reality cams on Febr.25.
But I also think that a reality cam should ALREADY have omnikrypt 1.1 installed to clear at once the above channels without any problems.
If not, I assume that the cam will try to download and install the update and then it will clear the channels. But this process of downloading is not successful for all cams. This is the also the case with evolve 8800. I have experienced such a cam problem in the past. The only solution was to have my cam replaced by a new one

Can anyone not clearing DPTV or 247 see in reality main menu which version of omnikrypt appears? Just to confirm my reasoning...

I have used Reality cam for a long time and I think that it is an excellent cam. But there is no support for new patches for some time now although there is continuing support for evolve 8800 i.e. D+ etc. with patches that maybe could be also used for reality. As it seems, reality has completed its product life-cycle and other products have more commercial interest

Hi jcam,
I have 2 reality cams one dptv,247. and the other the 4 channel cam

Neither of these cams will update for me on dptv or 247,they have omnikrypt 1.1 firmware,I have left them on the channels for 30 minutes to open ,but nothing.
I have a echostar dbs8082ci ,when i put the box on the channels open for 5 seconds then freeze,then a black screen.

As for patches you are right ,not well supported now,i'm useing the last patch phoenix 1.09c,which only opens tps,visavision multicanal.

As far as I know the reality has never supported nag 2,hence there has been no d+ or polsat. cabo was ok when it was in nag 1 .

Do you know of any other clone patch that will workwith this cam
How are you managing to get d+ ?

I also have a dragon cam which is a much better cam,not just because of the support.

You must be right about dragon cam but I have not used one.

I have searched a lot to find a new patch for reality but it seems there is nothing new. So no D+ or polsat for me

Anyhow I am about to get a Dreambox to expand my horizons

As for your problem I can think the following:
1. There are some compatibility problems between reality and certain receivers of humax and echostar as far as I know. But then I think you would not clear other channels such as tps. You could test your cams in another receiver if possible.
2. Is SHL encryption on in the cas menu?
3. Is your subscription to DPTV etc. valid?
4. If your receiver has 2 CI slots use only reality without dragon.

It should take only a few seconds to clear DPTV etc.

From my experience, your problem seems a receiver compatibility case.
