Delfouneso - signed for Clarets on loan.
    DELFOUNESO HEADS TO BURNLEY

Aston Villa striker Nathan Delfouneso has signed for Burnley on loan until the end of the season, the npower Championship side have confirmed.
The 20-year-old has found first-team opportunities harder to come by at Villa Park since the January arrival of Darren Bent.
He has now agreed to join the Clarets, who have been on the lookout for a new frontman after Charlie Austin was ruled out for the rest of the campaign with a dislocated shoulder.
Delfouneso, who has made 16 appearances for Villa this term, is a regular for the England Under-21s, with many tipping him to earn full international honours in future.
Should the paperwork go through in time, he could make his debut for Burnley in tonight's clash with Hull.

Nathan Redmond - new Birmingham deal.
    REDMOND PENS NEW BLUES DEAL

Birmingham's teenage winger Nathan Redmond has agreed a three-year contract with the club.
Redmond, who turned 17 last Sunday, has committed himself to his hometown club until the summer of 2014.
He became the second youngest player after Trevor Francis to appear for the Blues when he featured in the Carling Cup tie with Rochdale earlier this season.
Redmond has represented England at Under-16 and Under-17 level.
He said: "I've worked hard to get here but I know that the hard work has got to continue if I want to push myself on further.
"I've learned so much over this past year and it has given me a taste of what I could achieve.
"The gaffer (Alex McLeish) is always trying to push me on to the next step.
"He's got plans for me if I'm willing to put the hard work in and I'm determined to become a better player."

Del Neri - given vote of confidence by Juve board.
JUVE KEEP FAITH IN DEL NERI

Luigi Del Neri has received a vote of confidence from the Juventus board as scrutiny builds over his position as manager.
Juve suffered their third Serie A defeat in a row on Saturday as they lost 1-0 at home to leaders AC Milan.
The result left the Bianconeri seventh in the standings and further damaged their chances of securing European qualification.
Del Neri only took charge at the start of the season after quitting Sampdoria and speculation has been mounting that his days in the job could be numbered.
However, sporting director Giuseppe Marotta believes the criticism of Del Neri has been harsh and would like to give him more time.
"The responsibility has to be shared between everyone and it's not fair to put all the blame on the manager. We'll go on trying to work harder," Marotta told the club's official website.
Reflecting on the defeat to Milan, Marotta continued: "Milan created their goal in the second half and two dangerous attempts in the first half.
"It was an ugly game, where little difference was noticed, even if Milan are stronger than us.
"As compared to Lecce and Bologna, our players gave more.
"Obviously, in such a moment, we're worried but that can become fear which panics players when they're on the ball."

    Veh - leaving
VEH TO LEAVE IN THE SUMMER

Hamburg coach Armin Veh has announced that he will be stepping down as coach of the Bundesliga club in the summer.
Veh took charge of the club last summer, but off-field problems have hampered his job and he says these have left him no option but to announce his departure.
"Given the situation at the club right now, I am not going to be available as coach here," he said.
The club is experiencing a turbulent time with club president Bernd Hoffmann receiving a vote of no confidence at the weekend.
This, along with the tediously long search for a new director of sport, which was only just ended after over 18 months recently when Frank Arnesen was appointed to start from next season, have convinced Veh to walk away.
"I wanted to have a chat with Frank Arnesen, but given the recent events here, I don't think there is anything to talk about," said Veh.
"In my opinion, you cannot work with the recent developments at this club.
"At times, football is not even the issue yet that is my job. Even if we are not currently where we would like to be, you need a bit of perspective.
"I don't think that is present.
"I had hoped to start something new with the new director of sport, but that is not possible in this situation. HSV is in a dangerous situation."
Amid reports of back-stabbing and politically-motivated voting, Hamburg advisory board chairman Otto Rieckhoff has condemned the media for the way they have reported the vote of no confidence.
Hoffmann failed to gain the two-thirds approval he required from the board at a meeting on Sunday to stand for re-election beyond the end of 2011, meaning he will have to step down at the end of the year.
The German media have been speculating about who voted against Hoffmann and why divisions have emerged in the advisory board, and Rieckhoff says this has "overstepped the mark".
"I condemn the public lies, accusations and insults against individual advisory board members which have been raised partly by the media," he said in a press release.
"What is happening here is not an attempt to damage the personal integrity of certain individuals with half truths and, at times, total lies, but it is an attempt to put individuals under threat with personal threats.
"That is absolutely unacceptable and that is not HSV's style.
"This has no place at our club and it has overstepped the mark."
Rieckhoff added that he and the advisory board have "always had a duty to act for the good of HSV and its Bundesliga team".
"That remains the case to this day," he added.
"It is absolutely unacceptable for me that individual advisory board members are being accused of having hidden agendas or even personal interests."
On the field, a 4-2 defeat at home to Mainz last Sunday has left the northern Germany club lying seventh in the Bundesliga, five points adrift of a place in Europe next season.
And Veh admits the off-field problems are not making his and the team's job any easier.
"It is not simple for the team," he said. "Of course we talk a lot in the dressing room every day and there is a lot of insecurity.
"A lot of contracts are up for renewal, but we have just got to be professional about it.
"We cannot do any more than that."

Kaka - expected to miss fortnight with knee injury.
    INJURY SETBACK FOR KAKA

Real Madrid midfielder Kaka faces a further fortnight on the sidelines after suffering another knee injury.
The 28-year-old only recently returned to first-team action following eight months out, and he felt another niggle to the same knee which underwent surgery during the match against Deportivo La Coruna at the end of last month.
He subsequently underwent scans which uncovered an oedema - an accumulation of fluid - on the knee.
A Madrid statement today read: "Treatment includes fitness work in the gymnasium and on the pitch, as well as complementary physiotherapy.
"The player is expected to miss 15 days and his progress will be monitored."
