But only versions 6.6 or below will record the encrypted stream.
Newer versions do not do this, but the author as told me that one day he may bring the facility back.

If the pro version is not needed then the free version (standard or non Pro) will do the job? For some reason I thought that the version you pay for was required to record the TS stream with the PID included, my mistake.

Thanks for the info, I just did a search for "smartdvb" and it seems to do blind scan etc so looks promising. I have a TBS6922 card that is blind scan capable ready to go into a PC so I might give it a try out.

I have recorded TS files with my internal hard disk drive. I have VU+ solo 2.

Only thing to remember is to switch off softcam.

CSA rainbow tool versions 1 and 2 find the crypt8.

Unfortunately I don't have rainbow tables to find the CW's.
