FS8000 firmware update problem

Hello,

During the update, the pc display is out of sync with the stb, when the pc reaches d100, the stb is still only at d079. Then the data transfer to memory starts...f001 to f100 and the stb says good. When I reboot the stb it says error. This is not really surprising because the rest of the update from d079 to d100 never got transferred.
I am using utils 2.02 and trying to update to fs8080_2.86_up.upb. Oddly enough, I can load 1.54vm_up.bin which works okay. (I note that the latter is a .bin file)
Anyone else had this problem?

Thank you for the file. One question - should I use it to upgrade both the boot loader and the firmware or just the firmware.

With firm 2.10, upgrade the boot loader and the firmware. With firm 2.86, firmware only.

I followed your instructions, and upgraded the boot loader and firmware with 2.10VR, that went okay. I then upgraded the firmware to 2.86, the upgrade process doesn't run smoothly, the stb and the pc screen are still out of sync, but it did end up with "good" and the rx booted okay. I tried the rx to see what I could get, and e.g. T*S F**T was still encrypted.
I tried repeating the whole upgrade process, and found that trying to flash the boot loader and firmware with 2.10VR producted error6 (maybe one can only do it the once). I loaded 2.86 again (still behaved oddly). This made no difference to encryption
I'm using utils 2.02..is that the right box loader for the FS8000?
