first i used dm7020si (real one) than bought dm500s chinnese than dm 800hd,again chinnese .cause the priceses are cheaper.i opted for dreambox after my first demo seadea & the second was a condor , i saw a lot of shooters talk about the dreambox ,so i wanted to see this demo what its got in his tommy. drove me crazy in the beguining but with the time & lot help from stuff & members of sat-tv, i learned how to manage it .its cool to try ..best for you all the dreamers.
ps:::: now i m thinking to try vu+duo . i ll see how it is ?????

i still use my old DM7000 (bought in 2003) for updating my cards (with newcamd card server) and sometimes watching tv in my workplace (at home). since then, i had a dm 5620 which is now out of service but nowadays, i think DM products are far too expensives and so i switch for a vu duo as main receiver (a good choice) and an azbox elite for the bedroom (a not as good choice

but i still enjoy my old DM7000 with GP 4.70 on it and like El Younoussi, i ve learned all i know on linux and CVS with this box and the communauty around it

I use DM 500S clone & Optibox 550S (also DM500S clone), it is cheap, simply, have good support...
