Kuyt - now contracted until 2013.
    CONTRACT EXTENSION FOR KUYT

Liverpool forward Dirk Kuyt has agreed a one-year contract extension to remain at Anfield until 2013, his management company have announced.
The Holland international, who joined the Reds from Feyenoord in 2006, was contracted until next summer but has been rewarded for his form this season.
In a news release issued by Sport-Promotion, the 30-year-old said: "I am very happy. We have spent a long time (in discussions) but always with the intention to reach an agreement.
"All the conversations were conducted in a friendly atmosphere.
"It fits perfectly with the feeling I got at this club.
"Since the day I first walked in, I felt welcome. That feeling has never left."
The release added that Kuyt had been discussing new terms with the club for the past month.
Kuyt, who played in the World Cup final with Holland last summer, has struck 11 times for the Reds in all competitions this season.
He scored his first hat-trick for the club in last month's impressive Barclays Premier League win over Manchester United and has since followed up with further goals against Sunderland and Manchester City.
Yet it is not principally for goals that Kuyt has earned a regular starting place in his five seasons at Anfield, but his all-round contribution and tireless workrate.
Although signed as a striker in a £9million deal, Kuyt has been deployed most successfully in a right-sided midfield role.
Manager Kenny Dalglish was quoted in the Sport-Promotion release as saying: "He never gives up, fights with everything and he is simply a good footballer.
"He scores goals and it's as simple as that, and often in major competitions or at crucial moments, like the recent Manchester United game.
"Dirk is happy with the extension, and I am sure we will enjoy having him."

    Roma - sold.
    DiBENEDETTO COMPLETES ROMA TAKEOVER

A new era in Italian football began on Saturday when Thomas DiBenedetto led a group of American investors in purchasing Roma.
DiBenedetto completed the long-awaited deal in Boston overnight to end the 18-year reign of the Sensi family and make Roma the first Serie A club to have foreign ownership.
"We are very happy," DiBenedetto said. "The business aspect has been very important but I love Rome and I want to do something big for this city.
"I am proud of my Italian origins and for this reason I will do big things.
"I didn't expect so much attention.
"I knew of the great passion from the Romans and this has been one of the reasons for doing this.
"I share this passion. I never played but my father played in the American Soccer League."
DiBenedetto and his group possess 60 per cent of the new consortium, with Italian bank UniCredit holding the remaining 40 per cent.
"There have been complicated points but I never felt like giving up," DiBenedetto said.
"I was determined to overcome the obstacles, and thanks to the patience of the banks and our partners, we have passed those difficulties."
DiBenedetto has been a partner of the New England Sports Ventures group, which owns MLB side the Boston Red Sox and Premier League giants Liverpool.
The American businessman has clear ideas about the future of the club.
Francesco Totti and Daniele De Rossi are prominent players in the squad who come from Rome, and DiBenedetto wants even more home-grown talent in the squad.
"With the new rules regarding financial fair play, there will be more importance placed on young players," he said.
"I want to attract the best Rome-born players and many of them already play in our squad."
DiBenedetto was also asked about AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi's welcome message to Serie A.
He responded: "I thank Berlusconi for his words. Our aim is to have the same success with Roma as he (Berlusconi) has had at Milan."
