10 new channels, including HD Polsat will be from 5 May 2011 menu map on N (Television New Generation). The number of programs in high definition ( HDTV ) is also increased to 27

N packet will strengthen its position as a leader in HD technology, the operators of digital platforms. N TV subscribers can now receive programs at Polsat - Polsat, Polsat HD, Polsat 2 Polsat Film News, Polsat, Polsat Cafe, Polsat Play and Polsat TV Biznes JimJam and SuperStacja.

After the inclusion of HD stations Polsat HD channels, the number of platforms increased to 27, which is most of all Polish satellite platforms.

Packet N is the only digital platform in Poland, which offers HD station TVP1 HD, Polsat and TVN HD HD.

Poland’s ‘n’ adds Polsat channels

Polish DTH service ‘n’ has added 10 new channels to its line-up after signing a deal with broadcaster Polsat Group.

The additional channels that launched on ‘n’ today are Polsat HD, Polsat, Polsat 2, Polsat Film, Polsat News, Polsat Café, Polsat Play, TV Biznes, JimJam and Superstacja. The addition of Polsat HD takes the total number of HD channels on the DTH platform to 27, more than any other operator offers.

“We are continuing to deliver on our strategy to offer the highest quality HD entertainment in Poland,” said Christian Anting, vice-president and chief operating officer of ‘n’. “The addition of new Polsat channels delivers a tremendous boost to Platform ‘n’s programming line-up, and enables our subscribers to enjoy all shows in the Polsat family such as Formula 1, UEFA Europa League as well as their flagship shows Hotel 52, Szpilki na Giewoncie, and Must be The Music. Furthermore, Platform ‘n’ is now the only platform in Poland to offer to all subscribers the most important stations [in the] Polish TV market in HD quality: TVP1 HD, TVN HD and Polsat HD.”
