Arran Lee-Barrett - staying at Ipswich.
    LEE-BARRETT SIGNS NEW IPSWICH DEAL

Ipswich goalkeeper Arran Lee-Barrett has signed a new two-year contract.
The 27-year-old, who would have been a free agent in the summer, has committed himself to the Tractor Boys until 2013.
"Obviously I'm very pleased to have sorted my future out here," he told Town's official website.
"It's a great football club and it's good to be part of the squad going forward.
"Like any player who is coming to the end of their contract it's always in the back of your mind what is going to happen.
"You just focus on the football and trying to prove you deserve a new contract. That is what has pleased me, that the manager sees me as part of his plans and given me the two years."

Ancelotti - unsure regarding his future.
    ANCELOTTI WILL NOT SAY GOODBYE

Carlo Ancelotti on Friday refused to contemplate the prospect of Chelsea's Barclays Premier League clash with Newcastle being his final home game at the club.
Ancelotti appears set to be sacked at the end of the season after overseeing the worst campaign at Stamford Bridge since Roman Abramovich's takeover.
The Blues boss could be forgiven for saying his goodbyes to Chelsea's supporters this weekend but he said on Friday afternoon: "I don't want to think about it being my last (home) game.
"I am focused to put the best team out, to win, to say thanks to our fans.
"They gave us fantastic support and it's not been an easy season for them.
"It doesn't matter if it's the last or not. We have to wait and see what happens at the end of the season."
He added: "I don't know what is going to happen about my future, but I'm not nervous. I'm quiet. I'm calm.
"I hope to stay - I've said a lot of times - but if something's changed, I will find another solution without problem."
Despite Chelsea being on the brink of only their third trophyless season of the Abramovich era, Ancelotti appears to have retained the backing of the majority of the club's supporters.
He said: "For me, it's fantastic.
"To think they appreciate my job and are close to me, continue to say this, it's a good step and aim that I was able to reach in this year."
Chelsea's players have also repeatedly come out in support of Ancelotti. The Italian's sacking would mean the club would be looking for their seventh manager in eight years, the sort of instability that could do more harm than good.
Yet, Ancelotti said: "I think that I have a very good relationship with the players.
"But I don't think it would be a problem for next season if I'm not here. I hope, obviously, to stay here. But there may be another coach and they'll have the same relationship.
"We're speaking about very professional players, players with a lot of experience.
"Every coach who was here in the past had a good relationship with the players. They gave, all the time, their best."
Sunday's defeat at Manchester United means Chelsea could kick off on Sunday having seen Sir Alex Ferguson's men claim the title 24 hours earlier.
Motivation might therefore be a problem against Newcastle but Ancelotti said: "Our aim is to reach second place.
"This is the motivation for the players - to play a good game, have a reaction after the bad game we had against United.
"It's not been an easy week because we lost something.
"Before the game against United, everything was okay. Now our aims have changed.
"But second place is important. We have to do our best to reach this position in the table."
With the pressure to win the title now off, Ancelotti can afford to experiment somewhat on Sunday.
He revealed Fernando Torres would start against Newcastle, adding: "I want to make some changes, but not a lot."
But he refused to confirm whether David Luiz would pay the price for his blunder at Old Trafford that gifted United the lead after just 36 seconds.
He added: "I think that he was not responsible for the defeat.
"It was a collective mistake, not individual.
"I was a little bit angry against him, but he doesn't have to be afraid about this. He is a fantastic player.
"The defender has to stay focused for 90 minutes, from the beginning to the end.
"He is very young. He has to improve on his focus."
Ancelotti also rubbished reports of a bust-up with right-back Jose Bosingwa, who will miss the final two games of the season with a knee injury.
"I read that Bosingwa had an argument with me - he didn't have an argument," he added.
"I didn't keep him out of the squad because he made a mistake against United (in the Champions League).
"If he was not involved in the game, it was just for his behaviour, not his mistake."

Wenger - aiming to solve Arsenal's shortcomings.
WENGER LOOKS TO MAKE GUNNERS BETTER

Arsene Wenger feels Arsenal's shortcomings this season can be solved both on the training pitch and in the transfer market.
The Gunners host Aston Villa on Sunday looking to stay ahead of FA Cup finalists Manchester City and secure automatic qualification for next season's Champions League.
However, Wenger knows the campaign should be drawing to a close without another sense of frustration after six trophyless years.
The Gunners boss accepts his young squad need a bit of help to "get over the line" in 2011/2012, having seen the season quickly unravel after suffering a shock defeat to Birmingham in the Carling Cup final.
Wenger, though, is confident major surgery is not needed, more perhaps a change in focus.
"The players had a fantastic attitude for the whole season and I am frustrated because they have not been rewarded," said the Arsenal manager
"The players have produced every single effort they could on the pitch, but maybe we were a bit to nervous when we had to cross the line.
"In the final minutes of big games, we lost and it was not down to the fact the players did not want it, they want to do well and have been remarkable, but we lacked a bit of calm in some situations.
"Experience will help with that and also the transfer market will help as well."
Wenger maintains there have been positives from a "frustrating" season.
"We do not feel that we under-performed overall because we were in the Carling Cup final, the quarter-final of the FA Cup against Manchester United, where we lost three days after [going out to] Barcelona [in the Champions League], so we produced quality games and at the end of the day there are objective signs for us that show we have the quality," he said.
"We feel we have made up some of the gap between us and the top teams from the seasons before - we are top of the league in the top four of Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City, so we have every reason to be frustrated."
Despite United having all but wrapped up the title with victory over Chelsea last weekend, Wenger maintains there is still all to play for behind the champions elect.
Arsenal are two points ahead of City and three behind Chelsea with two games left.
"We can still catch the second place and we can finish second, third or fourth, depending on our results," he said.
"Of course we want to finish in the top three and if possible second.
"It is not unrealistic [to finish second] when you are just three points behind.
"Manchester City can want third place because they are only two points behind, so it is open."
Wenger is expected to add some experienced cover over the summer, most notably in defence.
However, the Arsenal manager will not be drawn on potential targets.
"We are looking to strengthen every year. First we look not to weaken because we want to keep all our players, and then try to strengthen," he said.
"It is not the number, it is the quality.
"But we don't rule out any position and we don't target any special position before the transfer market."
Meanwhile, Wenger has dismissed suggestions by former midfielder Paul Merson there was anything untoward in the club's medical treatment.
Merson, 43, claimed players were injected with a "yellowy product" and that Wenger himself had handed out "a dark tablet", which was super-strength caffeine.
Wenger said: "I cannot take that comment seriously.
"I don't know how many players have played here over 15 years, 200 maybe; some of them stayed for 10 years. Paul Merson stayed with me for four months, so I think it is better you ask people who have played for five, six, seven, eight, nine years here how we behave medically."
Wenger added: "I personally give them nothing. If they don't want to take anything, they take nothing.
"If you find one player who I asked to take something, bring him here in front of me. If we give them something, it is multivitamins, magnesium, calcium or vitamin C like everybody else.
"Every year we have at least 20 doping controls. In 15 years we have not had one positive control. You think, really, I try to dope?
"If you find one player who I asked to take an injection to play one game, no matter how big the game was, I would resign tomorrow morning.
"It is absolutely ridiculous to put any suspicion on the way we treat the players and respect the players' health."

    Young - trophy ambitions.
TROPHY LURE COULD DRAW YOUNG AWAY

In-demand Aston Villa winger Ashley Young admits he wants "to win titles and cups" as speculation increases over his future.
Young is strongly tipped to quit Villa this summer, with Liverpool and Manchester United linked with a move for the England international.
Villa caretaker boss Gary McAllister has already conceded the lure of Champions League football may tempt Young away.
Young, who has one year left of his current contract, has constantly stressed talks on his future will not take place until the end of the campaign.
But he told the Birmingham Mail: "I'm an ambitious person who wants to win titles and leagues and cups and stuff.
"Hopefully, fingers crossed, I can do that. I think they say players start to peak at 26 or 27.
"I'll soon be 26, so fingers crossed I can start peaking myself. I've been enjoying how things have been going for me."
Villa would be looking for around £15million should Young leave but a bidding war could increase the price.
Young is determined to finish the season on a high note with Villa visiting Arsenal on Sunday.
He said: "I want to be able to do well for myself, do well for the club and get them higher than we are at the moment.
"Fingers crossed, I can continue not to be injured, keep going, keep doing what I've been doing, and see it right through to the end of the season."

Re: Latest Transfer Update at 13-05-11

Reina - anticipating a bright Liverpool future.
REINA HAPPY TO STAY A RED

Liverpool goalkeeper Jose Reina has been convinced he still has a future at the club by the turnaround effected by Kenny Dalglish, who on Thursday signed a three-year contract to become permanent manager.
When Dalglish was brought in on an initial temporary basis on January 8 to replace the sacked Roy Hodgson the situation at Anfield looked bleak.
The team were 12th in the Barclays Premier League, four points off the relegation zone having already spent time in the bottom three, with disaffection stretching from the team to the terraces.
Unhappy star striker Fernando Torres was angling for a move - which he eventually got with his £50million transfer to Chelsea - and it appeared Spain team-mate Reina would be next out of the door.
But in just over four months the 28-year-old goalkeeper has been persuaded purely by results on the pitch and a change in atmosphere he can still fulfil his ambitions at Anfield.
"I am looking forward to next season. I have always said [that] - of course there was a bit of doubt back in December and January because we were not even close to where we are now," said Reina.
"We have had excellent news on Kenny's contract, Steve Clarke's (who also signed a three-year deal) and all of the technical staff.
"We are heading in the right direction and we are optimistic.
"I think by making the right steps and taking them, we can all see the difference between now and then.
"That's why we are now optimistic about the future and are looking forward."
Liverpool are now fifth in the table and victory over Tottenham on Sunday at Anfield will secure Europa League football.
Their current five-match unbeaten run has seen them pick up 13 points and go on a goalscoring spree with 17 for and only three against.
It is form which has prompted premature talk of Liverpool being able to mount a title challenge next season - a scenario which would have been met with ridicule at the turn of the year.
Reina is confident they will improve but will not get carried away.
"We have to be calm because we know how hard it is to compete with the big teams out there," he added.
"Fifth position is not the one that belongs to Liverpool, we aim higher and hopefully next season we can finish higher.
"We are all looking forward to next season, but we have to finish the job on Sunday.
"By winning we will mathematically be sure of fifth and that is our target - to be beat Tottenham, make sure we get into Europe for next season and then get some rest, which I think we deserve as well."
Although Dalglish and Clarke have had a major influence in the turnaround, a key player in recent months has been Luis Suarez, a £22.8million January signing from Ajax.
The Uruguay international, scorer of four goals in 11 matches but architect of many more, praised the approach of the Reds boss since he took over.
"He has worked very hard with us and our relationship with him is great," said the 24-year-old.
"It has been great over the last couple of months. Kenny has given me all my confidence, he trusts me.
"I think all the team feels like this, they all have this confidence because Kenny is the kind of manager that does that.
"We like him very much and hopefully we can keep doing what we're doing."
