Der Spiegel to launch online channel

The company behind German magazine Der Spiegel is to launch an IP-based online TV channel, Spiegel.tv, according to local reports. Spiegel TV GmbH recently received approval for the creation of a channel by competition regulator KEK.

Speigel TV already operates two TV channels – Spiegel TV Digital and Spiegel Geschichte.
