Teleste has signed a frame agreement with Immomedianet for the upgrade of 13,200 in the Hamburg area.

The €1.4 million project will run through until the end of the year and will see the apartments, owned by Deutsche Annington, upgraded from a 450 MHz pure TV-content distribution network into an 862 MHz multimedia and high-speed internet network.

The landlord intends to market a series of multimedia services to its tenants.

Hamburg based Immomedianet was founded in 2000 and is a joint venture between the housing association and cableco Tele Columbus.
