    Ancelotti - backed by Mancini.
    ANCELOTTI BACKED BY MANCINI

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini believes Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich would be making a "huge mistake" if he sacked manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Ancelotti's future at Stamford Bridge has been the subject of speculation with the Blues set to finish the season without a trophy.
Mancini, whose own future at City had been in question in recent months, with reports in Italy linking him to Juventus, told Studio Sport XXL: "In reality, I have not said no to Juve simply because I have never been approached by them.
"I want to remain at City to build a group.
"It would be stupid to have to start over somewhere else.
"For the same reason, Abramovich would make a huge mistake to part with Ancelotti.
"He is one of the best coaches in the world."
Mancini also spoke about City's Italy striker Mario Balotelli and denied reports of rifts with the 20-year-old.
"He is a good lad," Mancini said. "He makes mistakes and needs to grow up.
"But it's not true that I tell him off. It's just that we speak a lot and one of the things I tell him is that nothing should be taken for granted and that he needs to prove he deserves his place in the team."

Del Neri - will leave after Napoli game.
    DEL NERI TO LEAVE JUVE

Luigi Del Neri will take charge of Juventus for the final time tomorrow in the season-ending clash with Napoli.
The 60-year-old's position with the club had been under question since it was confirmed Juventus could not qualify for Europe.
They are currently in seventh spot, three points shy of Roma, and even if they beat Napoli and Roma lose to Sampdoria, Roma have the better head-to-head record meaning a Europa League spot is theirs.
Del Neri confirmed on the eve of the match he has been told it will be his last.
"Juventus will change coach, I was informed of this decision," he said.
"I wish good luck to whoever will follow me but I do not know who he is."
Del Neri insisted he does not feel that he has been made a scapegoat for Juve's failures this season.
"I do not see this as a personal defeat," he said.
"I thank Juventus for the opportunity they gave me. It was a new environment for me and I think I improved.
"I think that I did the best that I could and I am at peace with my conscience.
"This is a group of players that must grow, that needs more experience. I know my players and tell them they can do better, but I also know they gave their all and have done their duty."
Napoli go into the game safe in third place.
They cannot be caught and cannot overhaul second-placed Inter Milan.

Tevez - linked with Manchester City exit.
    MANCINI UNMOVED OVER TEVEZ SAGA

Roberto Mancini claims his belief that Carlos Tevez wants to stay at Manchester City came from a demand by the striker for an explanation why he said the striker was going to quit.
Mancini surprised most observers on Tuesday night when he said Tevez was going to stay with Manchester City.
Sources close to Argentina international denied this later in the week, insisting Tevez had still to determine his future plans.
Yet Mancini remains unrepentant, insisting his view was born of a clarification he was forced to give to Tevez himself.
"First of all, I spoke with some Italian journalists who asked me whether it was possible Carlos could one day go to Inter or Juventus," recounted Mancini.
"I said 'I don't know. Maybe. Carlos is in Italy for treatment'.
"In the newspapers it came out that I said Carlos wants to go to Italy. I didn't say this.
"Carlos came to me and asked why I had said this. I said I hadn't. I said I didn't know whether he wants to stay or go to Italy.
"Carlos said he wants to stay. Finished. This is history."
Heading into Sunday's final Premier League game at Bolton, when a victory would seal third spot for the FA Cup winners, Tevez's importance can hardly be understated.
If he left Eastlands, it would present Mancini with a tough problem at a time when, whether he likes it or not, he is going to be operating with a much stricter budget.
"In one year it is impossible to improve 200 per cent, so we can beat Barcelona easily," he said.
"We need to have other players.
"(Chairman) Khaldoon (al-Mubarak) understands how difficult it is to win in the Champions League on a Wednesday and the Premier League on a Saturday.
"If you don't have 23 or 24 really good players it is really difficult.
"Manchester United have all their experience and won many trophies.
"They played in the semi-final with probably 11 different players to the ones who played in the final. This says something I think."
Mancini is either failing to understand, or a preferring not to, the implications of UEFA's new financial fair play rules, which restrict clubs to losing an average of £39.5million over the next three years.
Given City lost £121million, more than their entire allocated sum for the three years combined, last year, it is clearly going to a problem meeting the targets without any more cash being invested.
There are fresh revenue streams imminent, through the Champions League and naming rights for the stadium.
However, the prospect of an additional windfall via player sales is limited due to the massive wages players such as Wayne Bridge, Roque Santa Cruz, Craig Bellamy and Emmanuel Adebayor earn, all of whom are deemed surplus to requirements.
