US main Hispanic broadcaster Univisión is working on the launch of three new channels for the USA Latin market.

One channel will be dedicated to a significant sector of the audience’s passion for football; the other to an equally strong passion for telenovelas. A third will cover news.

The company currently covers 70% of the country's Latin TV market and it has two in-the-clear terrestrial channels: Univisión and Telefutura. On cable it has Galavisión, formerly owned by Mexican TV company Televisa.
