French-speaking channel TV5Monde is to launch a new online TV portal Terriennes (the ones who live on Earth and from the land).

The new offer is dedicated to the condition of women worldwide, conceived as a testimony about the reality of women’s life conditions, and will denounce or praise what needs to be done in this sphere.

It will also bring precise news about rights, health, politics, education, culture, etc and will link to blogs and websites handling the same matters, and offer visual or sound documentaries, reports and portraits of women.

“The new website will also relate about all the actions set up by French-speaking countries in favour of gender equality, “TV5Monde MD Marie-Christine Saragosse explained.
