Have since noticed that most of the stations I am not receiving or of poor signal are ,from Astra2 direction seem to be from the Eurobird satellite. Zone horror,
food networks etc.
Is it possible that my dish could be in wrong direction, it looks like ones around, checked with a meter and signal is good, reading 60 to 70%ish for strength and
quality. Or would LNB skew make a difference?
I also notice that Eurobird is not listed in the satellite list on the receiver, a Technomate 3150D which I used about a year ago and got all stations ok. But have moved house since and am setting it up again. Is it a case that Astra and Eurobird are regarded as one?

Any help appreciated as I want to try and get everything right as I intend to get rid of pay channels and want to run 3 tv's off dish. Have another Technomate box and intend to buy a Humax recorder for main tv.

Sounds like your on 23 east instead of 28 east when you scan for channels do you get channel4 bbc etc when you scan
