Varney - would embrace a Pool return.
    VARNEY KEEN ON SEASIDERS RETURN

Derby striker Luke Varney has admitted he would relish the chance to rejoin Blackpool on a permanent deal.
The towering forward settled into his loan spell at Bloomfield Road quickly and wants to help them regain Premier League status - despite still having a year to go on his Pride Park contract.
The 28-year-old said: "I spoke to the gaffer briefly after the final game against Manchester United and told him that if there was ever an opportunity to come back, I'd snap his hand off.
"You never know in football. Even if there was a case of me coming back on loan, I'd definitely embrace that. It is a place I know and if two clubs came in for me and a decision had to be made, I'd choose Blackpool straightaway."
Varney ended his season with the Seasiders with five goals from 30 appearances.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic - linked with Real Madrid move.
    IBRAHIMOVIC HAPPY AT MILAN

AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has committed his future to the club despite being linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer.
The Swedish forward has made it clear he wants to stay at the San Siro rather than team up with former Inter boss Jose Mourinho in Spain.
"I feel as though I have found my place at Milan," said Ibrahimovic to Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I still have three years left on my contract and I hope to complete them with the Rossoneri.
"I have no intention of moving."
Ibrahimovic enjoyed a fine campaign with Milan after joining the Serie A outfit on loan from Barcelona last summer.
He scored 14 goals in 29 league appearances to help the Rossoneri clinch the scudetto for the first time since 2004.
The 29-year-old completed a permanent transfer to Milan in January.

Carlo Ancelotti - taking a year out.
CARLO ANCELOTTI TO TAKE A YEAR OUT

Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed he will take a one-year sabbatical from coaching after being dismissed by Chelsea last month.
The Italian tactician had one year left on his contract with the Blues but was sacked on the final day of the campaign after two seasons in charge.
Ancelotti has been linked with the coaching position of newly-promoted QPR, who are managed by Neil Warnock, as well as the vacancies at Fulham and Aston Villa. He has also been a reported target of Serie A club Roma, for whom he enjoyed great success as a player.
"I am in no hurry to coach and I don't need to," Ancelotti told Italian newspaper La Stampa.
"I have not been contacted by any club in England and I have not spoken to Roma. It is all fantasy.
"I have enjoyed this experience (of coaching in England). I will return to London to organise my life.
"Besides a six-month break, I have been coaching non-stop since 1995. I will take a year off and look around, study how my colleagues work."
Ancelotti enjoyed a successful playing career at Roma between 1979 and 1987 and has never hidden his wish to guide the capital city club in the future.
"I have always said and I reiterate it that one day I will coach Roma, but it's still early," he said.
Ancelotti led Chelsea to the Premier League and FA Cup double in his first season in charge but finished trophyless at the end of the 2010-11 campaign.

Boateng - reportedly wants to leave Man City.
    BAYERN CONFIDENT ON BOATENG

Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich remain confident they will be able to broker a fee with Manchester City for full-back Jerome Boateng's services.
The Germany international struggled to hold down regular first-team football due to a variety of reasons during his debut Premier League campaign.
The 22-year-old has reportedly informed City boss Roberto Mancini of his desire to return to the Bundesliga, with Bayern eager to acquire the ex-Hamburg defender.
Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed Boateng is on the club's radar and he hopes in the coming days the clubs will be able to finalise a deal.
"I believe that there is a chance that we will come to an agreement. We will have to play a waiting game and this is not something which will be resolved in the next two or three days," he told Kicker.
City, for their part, have shown little inclination to lose the German, with sporting director Mike Rigg describing Boateng as "unsellable".
The main stumbling block is City's insistence on a transfer fee in the region of €20 million (£17.7m), with Bayern currently only prepared to stump up €12.5m (£11m).
Should the two clubs eventually come to an agreement, Boateng would become the latest high-profile signing as the club look to mount a stiffer challenge for the Bundesliga title under new coach Jupp Heynckes, in the wake of this season's third-placed finish.
Manuel Neuer, Rafinha and Nils Petersen have already moved to the Allianz Arena this summer.

Sanchez - reportedly set to join Barca.
    SANCHEZ CONFIRMS BARCA LIKING

Udinese star Alexis Sanchez has stated that Barcelona would be a 'splendid destination' following reports a switch is imminent.
The Chile international has been the subject of interest from several of Europe's top sides, with Manchester City and Manchester United rumoured to be amongst his suitors.
But it is suggested Barca are closing in on a deal to land the 22-year-old, who joined Udinese from Cobreloa in 2006.
"Barcelona would be a splendid destination," Sanchez told Futbol. "The interest of great clubs in me makes me proud. It means I am doing well.
"I want to progress, play and win important trophies and to do this you need to play for the most prestigious clubs. Therefore I hope to have this chance."

    Fuchs - new Schalke signing.
    SCHALKE SWOOP FOR FUCHS

Schalke have completed the signing of left-back Christian Fuchs from Mainz.
The Austria captain has agreed a four-year deal with the DFB-Pokal champions and is excited at joining a club of Schalke's stature.
He told the club's official website, www.schalke04.de: "Joining Schalke gives me goosebumps.
"The club have nearly 100,000 members, won the UEFA Cup in 1997 and last season reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.
"The fans are fantastic, the stadium is impressive."
Sporting director Horst Heldt believes Fuchs' arrival will help solve a position which has proved problematic for the Gelsenkirchen club.
He said: "Over the past few years, Schalke have failed to find a permanent solution in his position.
"Christian has great athletic qualities and has already proven his class at Mainz and Bochum.
"Furthermore, Schalke will not just benefit defensively as Christian's free-kicks and passing are important offensively.
"His eight assists in the recently-completed Bundesliga season is evidence of that."
