Malky Mackay - can speak with Cardiff.
MACKAY SET TO TALK WITH CARDIFF

Watford have given manager Malky Mackay permission to speak to npower Championship rivals Cardiff.
The Bluebirds want Mackay to replace Dave Jones, who was sacked last month following their play-off semi-final defeat by Reading.
An official approach was turned down by Watford yesterday but following discussions at boardroom level, chairman Graham Taylor said: "We have reluctantly agreed to allow Malky to speak to Cardiff."
City made their move after former England striker Alan Shearer revealed he had held "unsuccessful" talks with the club earlier this week.
Ex-Celtic, Norwich and West Ham defender Mackay, 39, has been in charge at Vicarage Road for two seasons.
Watford were among the favourites to be relegated both years but Mackay guided them to 16th and 14th-placed finishes despite operating on a shoestring budget and regularly seeing his best players sold.
This summer he has already lost top scorer Danny Graham to Swansea while fellow striker Will Buckley was sold to Brighton.
Chief executive Julian Winter also left last week leaving new owner Laurence Bassini to run the club.
Bassini insisted yesterday the club would do "everything in our power" to keep hold of Mackay, but the Scot has now asked permission to open talks with Cardiff.
Taylor added: "The owner spoke with the board members and following Malky's request to speak to Cardiff, we have granted him permission."
Mackay only signed a new three-year contract in March so Cardiff would have to come up with a compensation package if they can lure him away.
A statement from the Bluebirds read: "Cardiff can confirm talks are under way with Malky Mackay to become our new manager.
"The talks began after permission was granted by Watford following our approach."

Steve McClaren - new Forest boss.
    McCLAREN CONFIRMS VILLA APPROACH

New Nottingham Forest manager Steve McClaren has confirmed he was approached by Aston Villa before being appointed as the new boss at the City Ground.
The former England boss has been handed a three-year contract by the Championship outfit following the departure of Billy Davies and has been tasked with leading Forest back into the Premier League.
McClaren had emerged as a frontrunner to replace Gerard Houllier at Villa Park and was due to meet with club officials before the scheduled talks were shelved by the top-flight outfit.
There were suggestions that a negative response from supporters led to the change of heart from the Villans, and while McClaren admitted he was unhappy at how the affair panned out, he was now keen to focus on his new role with Forest.
He told a press conference televised by Sky Sports News: "There was an approach, there was an appointment set up.
"That wasn't fulfilled, I couldn't control that, I quickly move on.
"I don't know (why the appointment wasn't fulfilled). You would have to ask Aston Villa that.
"At the time it was a disappointment, but I've had many disappointments in football, many highs and lows, you quickly move on.
"Once I met the chairman, heard the ambitions for this football club, once I came here and could smell the history and tradition, I think it is a good move for me."
McClaren saw the reputation he had built up at Middlesbrough take a significant blow during his time in charge of England, but he enjoyed success in Holland with FC Twente before a stint in Germany with Wolfsburg did not work out.
And he has now set his sights on guiding Forest back into the top-flight, with the club having missed out twice in the play-offs under Davies in the last two seasons.
He said: "Everybody has to work together, on the same page, on the right bus going in the right direction. We will work together to improve this club.
"I know the Premier League, I know how to get into the Premier League, I know what it takes. We will work together to try and achieve that.
"It's a great feeling, especially coming here. You can smell the history and tradition of this football club. I've been abroad for three years and I wanted to get back into English football.
"Leaving England and going abroad has really broadened my horizons, my experiences and my knowledge and made me - I hope - a better coach, a better manager.
"Credit must be due to Billy Davies for what he has done in the last two and half years. He saved them from relegation and has been very, very close to getting them into the Premier League in the last two seasons.
"They have a good squad, they have a good set-up, they have good people here. What we have to do is try and make the final step and get into the Premier League. Whether that is in one year, two years, three years, that is the ultimate goal."

    Vieira - released.
BIG NAMES HEAD LIST OF FREE TRANSFERS

Manchester City midfielder Patrick Vieira, Manchester United's Owen Hargreaves, West Ham defender Matthew Upson and Tottenham's Jonathan Woodgate are some of the bigger names to be released by their clubs this summer.
The Premier League has published its lists of retained players and those available on a free transfer this summer and it is no surprise to see the three relegated clubs - Birmingham, West Ham and Blackpool - offloading 32 players between them.
Age has finally caught up with Vieira, who is 35 next week, and he is joined on the exit list at Eastlands by Javier Garrido and former academy graduate Shaleum Logan.
Hargreaves' departure from United was fully expected as injury restricted him to just 11 minutes' football in the last two seasons
Woodgate suffered similar problems, making just four appearances in two years.
Birmingham have let a dozen players go, with the likes of Lee Bowyer, Sebastian Larsson, James McFadden, Kevin Phillips and Maik Taylor on their list of free transfers.
West Ham's England international Upson, Wales centre-back Danny Gabbidon, defender Lars Jacobsen and Jonathan Spector have all been put on the open market, while Blackpool midfielder David Vaughan's rejection of a new contract means he joins 11 others leaving Bloomfield Road.
Aston Villa have released John Carew, Robert Pires and Nigel Reo-Coker, while Blackburn have done similar with Jason Brown and Benjani Mwaruwari.
Bolton had already announced Johan Elmander, Ricardo Gardner and Jlloyd Samuel would be leaving.
Everton's third-choice goalkeeper Iain Turner has been released while Fulham have let go of Zoltan Gera, Diomansy Kamara and John Pantsil and Sol Campbell has left Newcastle.
Stoke have released Eidur Gudjohnsen and Ibrahima Sonko, with veteran Dutchman Bolo Zenden leaving Sunderland and Abdoulaye Meite West Brom.
Wolves midfielder Dave Jones, veteran defender Jody Craddock and goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann are all departing Molineux, while Wigan have released Steven Caldwell, Daniel de Ridder, Jason Koumas and veteran goalkeeper Mike Pollitt.
