GILARDINO HAPPY IN FLORENCE
Alberto Gilardino has revealed he is likely to stay with Serie A outfit Fiorentina next season.
However, the 28-year-old has not ruled out the possibility of a move to Spain, despite having two years left on his current deal.
The Italy international admits he does not know what will happen regarding his future, until the end of the summer transfer window.
He told the Italian press: "I don't want to give the club certainties at this moment in time because I don't know what is going to happen from now until the end of August.
"The club obviously want to keep me because I have another two years left on my current contract.
"But a lot will depend on how talks go with officials and where they see the future of the club.
"I heard that there has been some interest from Spain and I'm really flattered to hear that.
"But, at the moment, I am feeling really good in Florence.
"Next year is an important year because of Euro 2012 and it is important that I must continue playing with some sort of continuity, which is the reason why I joined this club three years ago."
