Mills - reported second Wolves bid turned down.
    ROYALS REJECT SECOND MILLS BID

Reading are believed to have turned down a second offer from Wolves for highly rated defender Matt Mills.
The former Doncaster Rovers centre-half has emerged as a prime target for Wolves as Mick McCarthy looks to boost his squad for next season.
An initial offer was rejected earlier this month and the Royals have now snubbed a fresh approach from the Premier League club for Mills.
It is understood that Wolves have so far offered in the region of £3million for Mills, while Reading are looking for a figure nearer the £4million mark.
Wolves chairman Jez Moxey revealed earlier this week that it may be time for the club to move on to other targets after also struggling to agree a deal for Birmingham City defender Roger Johnson.
With Reading determined to hang on to Mills, it is understood the Championship club will now try to persuade the 24-year-old to sign a new contract at the Madejski Stadium.

Alvarez - appears to be heading for Arsenal.
    ALVAREZ ALREADY A GUNNER?

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini claims Arsenal have beaten him to the signature of Ricardo Alvarez.
The Serie A outfit were hoping to pip the Gunners to the post and tempt the Velez Sarsfield midfielder to Italy.
Reports on Friday suggested they were still in that particular hunt, with no deal agreed for his transfer as yet.
Zamparini, though, has now conceded defeat in the race and claimed that the highly-rated 23-year-old is on his way to England.
"We did have a concrete bid for Alvarez and had him in our grasp back in January," he told Radio Kiss Kiss.
"Unfortunately, we didn't complete the move in time, so we lost him to Arsenal.
"At this moment he has already signed for the Gunners."

Tamas Priskin - was loaned to Swansea.
    SWANS SURPRISED BY EMBARGO DEMAND

Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins insists he is "completely unaware of any dispute with Ipswich" after Town reported them to the Premier League for alleged non-payment of invoices.
Jenkins has vowed to meet with Ipswich chief executive Simon Clegg next week after the latter asked the Premier League to impose a transfer embargo on the top-flight newcomers due to a dispute over payments relating to Tamas Priskin's recent loan spell.
Clegg claims the Swans have reneged on a deal relating to the payment of Priskin's wages while he was on loan last season and subsequent add-ons as a result of their promotion.
Jenkins, though, told swanseacity.net: "In response to Ipswich Town's statement, as a club we are completely unaware of any dispute with Ipswich.
"Myself and Simon Clegg talked a few weeks ago regarding the situation of Tamas Priskin returning early from his loan spell, but there has been no correspondence since.
"While we are surprised and disappointed with Simon's statement, we will address the situation and speak to him and Ipswich early next week."
Earlier, Clegg said: "I am hugely disappointed a legally-binding agreement reached in good faith by both clubs as part of Swansea's final push for promotion is now being disputed."
Ipswich claim the loan agreement made provision for Swansea to pay for Priskin's wages up to May 31 even though he was injured on April 22.
They also say the contract provided for "cumulative payments for each stage of the play-off competition".
Clegg added: "I am genuinely delighted for Swansea and their fans but the attempted renegotiation and deliberate misinterpretation of agreed terms by their chairman (Jenkins) is not fitting for a club which has just secured the ultimate prize in Championship football and its £90million windfall.
"Tamas arrived in Swansea fit and became injured while under their care - that's football but contracts have to be honoured and I have absolutely no interest in renegotiating this agreement.
"As a result of Swansea refusing to pay our invoices I have reported them to the Premier League, sought an immediate transfer embargo and am now seeking full payment of all outstanding sums with the agreed contractual interest rate of five per cent above base."
The Premier League were not immediately available for comment.

Nani - United don't plan to sell.
MAN UTD NOT LOOKING TO SELL NANI

Manchester United will not be offloading Nani following Ashley Young's £17million arrival at Old Trafford.
With Young signing a five-year contract with United, it has been suggested Nani's time at the club is coming to an end.
Although the Portugal winger claimed more assists than anyone else in the Premier League last term, and was named United's players' player of the year, the return of Antonio Valencia from injury in March reduced his involvement.
Nani then failed to make Sir Alex Ferguson's starting line-up for last month's Champions League final defeat to Barcelona, leading to fresh speculation about his future.
If he indicated a desire to leave United in the wake of Young's arrival from Aston Villa, there would be huge interest across Europe.
However, whilst the 24-year-old's thoughts on the situation have not been aired, Press Association Sport understands United's stance to be of a club currently building a squad, a process that does not involve allowing what they regard as key men to leave.
There will be casualties, and it is hard to see Sunderland targets Darron Gibson and Wes Brown remaining beyond the end of August.
When his squad returns to training at the start of next month though, Sir Alex Ferguson will be assuring Nani of his position in the Scot's plans for the future, and attempt to meet the challenge Barcelona set with their devastating performance at Wembley.
Certainly, Ferguson has been the most active of the big-name managers so far this summer and his spending will go beyond £50million once the deal for Atletico Madrid keeper David de Gea is completed.
De Gea will be part of the Spain side that attempts to secure the European Under-21 Championships by beating Switzerland on Saturday evening, after which it is expected the remaining loose ends of his transfer will be tied up.

David Villa - doesn't want Barcelona exit.
DAVID VILLA HOPES TO RETIRE AT BARCA

Barcelona striker David Villa has dismissed reports linking him with a possible move away from the European champions, insisting he would like to finish his career at the Nou Camp.
The Spain international joined Barca from Valencia last summer for 40million euros and netted 23 goals in all competitions as the Catalan giants won both the Primera Division and Champions League titles last term.
Since the end of the campaign there has been transfer speculation about Villa's future at Barca, with English clubs Chelsea and Manchester City touted as possible destinations for Spain's all-time record goalscorer.
However, speaking at a promotional event, Villa said of those reports: "All that's been said hasn't bothered me because it isn't rumours or speculation, it's a lie.
"Hopefully I can retire at Barca because that would mean everything has been great for me.
"I would like to have the chance to retire at Barca even though I'm only 29. It would be very nice. I want to be at Barca as long as possible," he added in quotes reported on Barcelona's official website.
Villa was also asked about Udinese winger Alexis Sanchez and Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas, two players who are in Barca's sights as possible reinforcements this summer.
Villa said of the pair: "The are two very good players at both an individual and collective level, and it would be a big injection of quality for our side (if they signed)."
