Leroy Lita - linked with Swansea switch.
    MOWBRAY ISSUES SWANSEA WARNING

Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray has warned Swansea will have to make what he regards as "a serious offer" if they wish to secure Leroy Lita or Marvin Emnes.
The strike pair have both been linked with moves to the newly-promoted Premier League club, with Swans reported to have already seen a bid of around £500,000 for Lita swiftly rejected by Boro.
"They (Swansea) might have been in touch but there has been no realistic interest in Marvin or Leroy," Mowbray told the club's official website.
"I have no great interest in selling either of them. If clubs come to talk then they will have to be realistic.
"If Swansea are interested in one of our players then they have to make what I consider to be a serious offer.
"We don't need to do this or that, we will get on with it if it's the squad we have in August. There is no fire sale here. We just have to keep working on it.
"If there are offers coming in then nothing is interesting us so far - they are a long way short of our expectations."
Meanwhile, Mowbray has confirmed he expects to see Kris Boyd and Didier Digard back for the start of Boro's pre-season training next Thursday following speculation linking them with moves away from the Riverside after they ended last season on loan at Nottingham Forest and Nice respectively.

Carlos Cuellar - could return to Rangers.
    ALLY McCOIST WANTS CUELLAR DEAL

Ally McCoist has confirmed he is "very keen" to bring Carlos Cuellar back to Rangers, but is unlikely to meet Aston Villa's £3million asking price.
Cuellar left Ibrox to join Villa in 2008 and he has made over 100 appearances during his time with the Premier League club.
However, his future at Villa Park is uncertain following former Gers boss Alex McLeish's appointment as manager and an offer of £1.5million has already been rejected.
Reports suggest Villa want double that amount to sanction Cuellar's sale, but McCoist doubts Rangers will offer that sum for the Spaniard.
"Gordon Smith (director of football) has been talking to Aston Villa about Carlos," said McCoist in the Daily Record.
"I'm very keen for that deal to go through, but I don't think we'd be going as far as £3million to make it happen."
Christophe Berra has been mooted as an alternative option to Cuellar, but McCoist says Gers will not be following up an interest in Wolves' former Hearts centre-half.
The Rangers boss added: "He was a player we looked at but won't be pursuing."

Joshua King - could move to Germany on loan.
    MONCHENGLADBACH CONSIDER KING LOAN

Borussia Monchengladbach will wait on the outcome of surgery on Manchester United youngster Joshua King before deciding on a loan move.
The 19-year-old, a 2008 signing from Valerenga, requires an operation after picking up an injury while on Norway Under-21 international duty earlier this month.
Bundesliga outfit Monchengladbach are keen to bring in the forward on a season-long loan, but admit concerns over his long-term fitness.
"We have to see how long it will take him to recover after this operation and whether it makes sense to borrow him," Borussia sporting director Max Eberl told the club's official website.
"Our medical department is in contact with the doctors of Manchester United and from the information they give us it will ultimately depend on whether the transfer will occur or not."
King, who spent time at Preston last season, is expected to make a decision on another loan deal in August, should the German outfit pursue their interest.

Scott Carson - set to leave West Brom.
    CARSON READY FOR BURSASPOR MOVE

West Brom goalkeeper Scott Carson admits he is "looking forward" to a new start as he prepares to finalise a move to Bursaspor.
Carson is currently in Turkey to put the finishing touches to a reported £1.5million switch to Bursaspor after deciding to end his three-year stay at West Brom.
The England keeper has made over 110 appearances for the Baggies since joining from Liverpool, but endured a mixed last season with the Premier League club.
He is now ready for a fresh challenge at Bursaspor, who have former Rangers striker Kenny Miller on their books, and Carson has been impressed by the size of the club.
"I am really surprised how big this club is," the 25-year-old told the Turkish media.
"The facilities are as good as I've been used to anywhere and I'm really excited. It's a new challenge and I'm joining a brilliant club which has a family atmosphere.
"It's been a bit overwhelming, I couldn't believe how many photographers and cameramen turned up.
"I'm just looking forward to a new start now."

Steven Caldwell - enjoyed life at Wigan.
STEVEN CALDWELL HINTS AT LATICS STAY

Steven Caldwell admits he is still hopeful of staying at Wigan, despite being released from his contract.
The defender joined the Premier League club on a 12-month deal last summer linking up with his brother Gary.
However, the 30-year-old found opportunities hard to come by once his sibling regained full fitness after double-hip surgery.
And earlier this month, it was reported that the former Burnley and Sunderland man has been released by the club, however, Caldwell is keen to extend his stay at the DW Stadium.
He said: "I'm basically a free agent as I don't know what's going to happen with Wigan.
"I was under the impression there was the possibility of staying for another year if I wanted.
"But no matter what happens, I most definitely enjoyed the opportunity I had there."

Maynard - Nottingham Forest transfer target.
    FOREST EYE NICKY MAYNARD DEAL

Steve McClaren has confirmed Bristol City striker Nicky Maynard is one of the players he is considering to boost Nottingham Forest's attack.
Leicester saw a bid for Maynard, who has just 12 months remaining on his contract at Ashton Gate, turned down and the Robins are adamant they will not sell to a rival Championship club.
McClaren has conceded his interest in the former Crewe forward, but says he is not the only player he is monitoring as he looks for Forest to make a statement of intent in the transfer market.
"We need to make our intentions clear," said McClaren in the Nottingham Evening Post. "That is the key for us.
"What we want to do; what the chairman wants to do is make a statement.
"We need to show our intent. We need to show people where we want to be; where we want to go.
"The players we bring in have to match that.
"We have been linked with Nicky and I cannot say there is not an interest in him, because it is out there already.
"We need somebody who can score goals in the Championship. But there are quite a few on the radar, there are a few players we are looking at."
