Well, there are actually other channels visible.. Optus Business Channels 1 and 2, however these are not generally viewable since they are encrypted. I believe that it is because of these channels that this transponder is broadcast on a AU/NZ dual beam at all... i.e. if Optus Business 1 and 2 weren't on this transponder, then it would be an AU-only beam.
With the general unavailability of ABC on any NZ beam (with the exception of this PAS-2 signal) and the lack of any info on PowerVU cracks, it looks like we in NZ are S O O luck.
And also, with the reorganisation of stuff during the D1 and D2 transitions, I'm not optimistic that we'll see any Aussie TV in NZ before too long.
