Hi to all can anybody guide to me please which best image for dream box 500hd? and can i also install db800hd image on db500hd?are they are same?

strange question indeed : it all depends of your needs ! but one thing is sure no DM800 image on DM500HD, boxes are different

have a look here http://www.satsupreme.com/forumdispl...-500-HD-Images but for a first time use, try gemini or SF team, then if you have more special need not fullfilled by those two, have a look on openPLI.

in fact you have to test images to see if it corresponds to what you need in terms of language, plugins, emulator and various features.

How about Dream Elite 2.0? at the moment i am using Dream Elite 2.0 i want to give a try on open pli image

i don't know dream elite on DM but i use black hole on vu duo (afaik comming from the same team) and it is quite a good image. it is working perfectly on vu duo and it should also on DM500HD.

my advice : do a backup of your dream elite image with your settings on a USB key or an external hard drive and try open PLI. if you don't like openPLI you could easily come back to dream elite with your backup
