POMPEY CONFIRM HALFORD DEAL
Portsmouth have secured the transfer of Greg Halford from Wolves after a successful loan spell at Fratton Park last season.
The versatile defender has penned a three-year contract after joining Pompey for an undisclosed fee, ending his two-year association at Molineux.
The 26-year-old made 20 appearances for Wolves after arriving from Sunderland in the summer of 2009, but made over 30 appearances for Steve Cotterill's men last term.

LLORENTE - MATA IS GOING NOWHERE
Valencia president Manuel Llorente insists Juan Mata is "not for sale".
Mata was part of the Spain squad which sealed a first World Cup triumph exactly a year ago and starred for their Under-21 side in their recent European Championship victory.
Several Premier League sides are thought to be interested in the 23-year-old, who would cost around 20million euros, but Valencia are adamant he will not be leaving the Mestalla.
"We have no intention of selling and we have not received any formal offers for the player," Llorente told Valencia-based sports daily Superdeporte.
"The news that has appeared in the papers is nothing more than speculation - Juan Mata is not for sale."
Lllorente says Valencia will be looking to strengthen their squad this summer, not weaken it.
"Our plan this summer is to make our squad better and our priority at the moment is to bring in a central defender," he said.
Valencia signed Almeria forward Pablo Piatti last week, but the Argentinian is seen as a replacement for Joaquin, who has joined Malaga.

MICAH RICHARDS DENIES WAGES TALK
Manchester City defender Micah Richards has dismissed speculation he is holding out for £100,000 a week before signing a new contract.
The 23-year-old has two years left to run on his present deal and is in talks with City about an extension.
Reports have suggested Richards is looking for a six-figure weekly salary, something the England international - currently on tour with City in the United States - strongly denies.
"I notice that one (newspaper) was claiming this weekend that I was demanding £100,000 per week before I sign a new contract at City," Richards told the club's official website.
"That is nonsense. They don't know what has been said, offered, or asked for, so instead they just make up a figure which makes everyone think that I am being greedy.
"It's annoying but I suppose it goes with the territory these days."
