Stijnen - not interested in friendly outing.
    STIJNEN SNUBS CELTIC OFFER

Free-agent goalkeeper Stijn Stijnen has rejected the chance to showcase his skills for Celtic in a friendly.
The 30-year-old is without a side having left Club Brugge in February and he had been interesting Bhoys manager Neil Lennon.
However, the Belgium international has no interest in proving himself in a friendly and is seeking an up-front offer.
"I am Stijn Stijnen," he told Het Laatste Nieuws.
"I've played 30 times for the Belgian national team and in quite a lot European and Champions League games.
"Why should I prove myself in a friendly game?"
His agent Renee Vandermeersch confirmed Stijnen's decision, stating: "Stijn doesn't want a trial period.
"If he signs somewhere the full story has to fit. There is interest for Stijn from foreign clubs, but also Belgian sides."

    Charles N'Zogbia - has a £10million price tag.
    WHELAN WARNS VILLA OVER N'ZOGBIA

Wigan chairman Dave Whelan has warned Aston Villa they will have to pay £10million to land Charles N'Zogbia.
Villa have seen their first bid of £9million for N'Zogbia rejected by Wigan as they line up the Frenchman as a replacement for Stewart Downing.
Whelan is reluctant to lose N'Zogbia, who he rates as the best left-winger in the Premier League, but concedes they will sell him for the right offer.
"It's £10m or there is no deal," Whelan told the Daily Mirror. "They offered us £9m and we refused it; firstly because we would like to keep Charles, and secondly because if he is to go, then we have to get the right price for him.
"Charles has played fantastically well in the last year and, with his pace and penetration, there's no doubt in my mind that he is the finest left-winger in the Premier League.
"We owe him a lot, not least for his goal against West Ham that helped us stay up.
"If the right offer comes in, we would consider it, if it was in his best interests - but it has to be the right offer."

Iwelumo - joins Watford on two-year deal.
Watford have signed striker Chris Iwelumo from Championship rivals Burnley for an undisclosed fee
The Scotland international has signed a two-year deal at Vicarage Road after agreeing personal terms and passing a medical.
Burnley have decided to let Iwelumo leave with Clarets boss Eddie Howe happy with the striking options he has available to him at Turf Moor.
Iwelumo came close to leaving Burnley last January when they accepted an offer from an unnamed club, but the 32-year-old ended up staying at the Lancashire outfit.
Watford boss Sean Dyche is a big admirer of the former Stoke and Wolves hit-man and sees him as someone who can help fill the void left by Danny Graham's departure to Swansea.

Diouf - spent second half of last season at Rangers.
    DIOUF'S ROVERS FUTURE IN DOUBT

Blackburn forward El-Hadji Diouf is expected to return to training two weeks late on Wednesday with his future at the club in serious doubt.
The Senegal international went AWOL earlier this month and was uncontactable despite a number of attempts by Ewood Park officials.
Rovers have finally got in touch, via his representatives, and they have been told he will be at the club's Brockhall base tomorrow.
But he is unlikely to be in the squad which flies out to Hong Kong for the Barclays Premier League Trophy at the weekend and manager Steve Kean hinted there was at least one club interested in signing him.
"I don't know where he is right now but I know where he will be tomorrow - or at least he's telling us he'll be here tomorrow," said the Rovers boss.
"He's not been here since the end of last season and we tried to make contact with him and couldn't.
"He will face a disciplinary when he comes in, we'll discuss that with him and his representatives, and we will see what the way forward is.
"Without a doubt he will be facing a fine.
"I wanted to talk to him and see where his head was at. He was on loan (at Rangers) last season and we had an emergence of younger players in his position.
"I wanted to see what he felt. He has one year left, we respect the fact he has a contract but we are looking for him, like everyone else, to come back on the date we set - which he didn't.
"So we have to discuss that and also discuss the options of him potentially moving on."
Blackburn's pre-season plans have gone far from smoothly so far. Diouf's non-appearance was an annoyance but the last-minute postponement of a trip to India has forced a rescheduling of their programme.
The club, owned by Indian poultry firm Venky's, were due to fly out to the sub-continent tomorrow to play a friendly in Pune before moving on to Hong Kong.
However, the deaths of 20 people in explosions in Mumbai, 160km from Pune, forced a rethink with a number of senior players understood to be uncomfortable with making the trip to the sub-continent so soon after the terrorist attacks.
Kean denied there had been concerns expressed by players but said the decision to put the trip back to the international break in October was a sensible one in the circumstances.
"The trip is not cancelled, it is postponed to another date because of the activity out there," he said.
"The board had a meeting with the owners and spoke and decided we had to go through a number of different checks and that trip will now take place at the beginning of October.
"The players are looking for guidance and as long as everything was explained to them they were fine as a group.
"I think the owners would have been disappointed if it was totally finished but the fact it has been put back softens the disappointment."
A joint statement from the club and the owners said: "Safety is always our top priority and after detailed discussions with our security and legal advisors we have been left with no option other than to postpone.
"While everyone is obviously disappointed, we all accept the circumstances and the reasoning.
"We are now looking forward to the trip to India in a few weeks' time."

    Gulacsi - new Tigers acquisition.
PETER GULACSI JOINS HULL ON LOAN

Liverpool reserve goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi has joined npower Championship side Hull on loan after signing an extended contract at Anfield, the Barclays Premier League club have confirmed.
The 21-year-old was Jose Reina's deputy for the second half of last season after Brad Jones was loaned out to Derby, although he has still to play a first-team match.
With the arrival of Alexander Doni from Roma to provide further back-up for the senior side, Liverpool are keen for Gulacsi, who spent the early part of the previous campaign on loan at Tranmere, to gain experience elsewhere.
With that in mind he will spent the whole of the forthcoming season with the Tigers.
