Disney Junior, formerly Playhouse Disney, will become part of mobile TV platform Digital+ addressing children between 2 and 7 years old and their families.
The new channel premieres new programs such as 'Jake and the pirates' and 'Never again’ plus Playhouse Disney classics such as 'Mickey Mouse's house', 'Manny Manitas' or 'Oso Agente'.
"Disney Junior emphasises the histories and characters, the main points of Disney. Now we'll take the Disney's experience several generations of children and grandparents and we will take them to television with some elements facilitating an early apprenticeship in the childhood which will make as a result a way to tell stories with the biggest possible emotion," declared Carolina Lightcap the channel's CEO.
At present Digital+ móvil offers some 25 channels depending on the operator it transmits on.
