Taylor - makes Upton Park switch.
    WEST HAM SIGN MATT TAYLOR

West Ham have completed the signing of Bolton midfielder Matt Taylor for an undisclosed fee.
The 29-year-old's move to London further strengthens the Hammers, who have already brought in Newcastle captain Kevin Nolan and Stoke's Abdoulaye Faye to Upton Park this summer as they bid to make an instant return to the Barclays Premier League.
Taylor passed a medical on Friday but the deal could not be finalised until this afternoon as Bolton were returning from a pre-season tour in the United States.
This is a great opportunity to come and play for a fantastic football club," Taylor told the club's official website, www.whufc.com.
"This is a big club with a lot of heritage. It is a new challenge for me and obviously I want to be part of something special and, from the outset, it looks like I will find that here."
Taylor joined Bolton from Portsmouth in January 2008 and rapidly established himself as a key first-team player at the Reebok Stadium.
The move to West Ham will see the left-sided midfielder drop down a division but Taylor insists he is relishing the challenge of getting the recently-relegated club back to the top flight at the first attempt.
"Ultimately it is a huge football club and I want to play my part if I can," he said.
"There were never any second thoughts about coming here.
"It is a big challenge for me which I am looking forward to, to be part of helping the team get back up to the Premier League and do that as soon as possible.
"I see this as a very positive move for me. I don't expect to be playing Championship football for more than one season if I am being totally honest.
"I just want to get stuck in and start playing. I think it is going to be a great season."
Taylor also admitted manager Allardyce formed a key part in his decision to move to east London.
"I have had good conversations with the gaffer, he is such a positive person," he added.
"I think you can see already the aura around the place and the quality of players he has brought in to add to the players already here.
"From a totally impartial point of view, I couldn't see anything other than that I was coming to a great football club and wanted to be part of it."

    Reo-Coker - Bolton talks.
    REO-COKER 'TALKING TO TOTTERS'

Nigel Reo-Coker has reportedly travelled to the north-west for talks with Bolton Wanderers.
The 27-year-old departed Villa in the summer and a number of Premier League clubs have since made contact.
The former West Ham star has also been linked with a move to the continent with Italian, German, Spanish and French clubs showing an interest - but a move in England now appears more likely.
Bolton have emerged as front-runners and Reo-Coker is now set to hold talks with The Trotters.
Bolton are looking to complete a number of deals in the coming weeks with Barcelona winger Jeffren firmly in Owen Coyle's sights.
Coyle has also been strongly linked with a double swoop on his former club Burnley with Chris Eagles and Tyrone Mears said to be their way to The Reebok Stadium.

Diouf - expected to leave Rovers.
TIME'S UP FOR DIOUF - KEAN

Blackburn boss Steve Kean has confirmed he expects El-Hadji Diouf to leave the club this summer.
The Senegal forward failed to report for pre-season training and earned a fine of two weeks' wages last week, and it now appears he has played his last game for Blackburn.
"I think it's probably the time for El-Hadji," Kean told Sky Sports News. "But it will depend on who is interested.
"It depends on what happens with the offers that come in."
Kean insisted there remain a number of clubs with interest in the former Liverpool man, who has been left out of the pre-season trip to Hong Kong.
Meanwhile, Kean said he was hopeful a new deal will be agreed with striker Benjani, who had been unhappy with an initial offer from the club.
"It was a bit of a breakdown in communications," Kean said. "But I've spoken to him now and hopefully we'll have a new offer we can go forward with."

Eagles - poised for Bolton talks.
BURNLEY DUO POISED FOR BOLTON SWITCH

Burnley have given permission for Tyrone Mears and Chris Eagles to speak to Bolton about the possibility of the pair joining the Barclays Premier League club.
The Clarets have agreed a combined fee with Wanderers, who are managed by ex-Burnley boss Owen Coyle, believed to be in the region of £3million. Both Mears and Eagles have rejected long-term deals at Turf Moor.
Right-back Mears, 28, and former Manchester United midfielder Eagles were both brought to Burnley by Coyle, but were unable to help them survive in their inaugural campaign in the Premier League in 2009-10 or achieve an instant return last season.
A club statement said: "Burnley Football Club had hoped to persuade the players to sign extensions to their present deals.
"However, with the players expressing their desire to immediately return to the Premier League, and effectively able to leave Turf Moor for free next summer, Burnley Football Club regrettably has accepted this offer from Bolton.
"Mears and Eagles will not take part in the Clarets' pre-season friendly at Torquay today, as they look to discuss personal terms with Wanderers.
"The funds from Eagles and Mears' expected departures will be used to strengthen the squad, with further transfer developments expected early next week.
"Burnley Football Club will make no further comment at this time."

Forrester - will sign at Ajax if trial is successful.
EX-VILLA MAN CLOSE TO AJAX DEAL

Ajax coach Frank de Boer says former Aston Villa midfielder Harry Forrester is close to signing a deal with the Dutch champions.
The 20-year-old was released by Villa in May after his contract expired having joined the Midlands club from Watford as a youth player in 2007.
Forrester, capped at England Under-17 level, did not make a senior appearance for Villa but was a regular performer for their Academy and reserve sides.
He also spent part of last season on loan at Scottish Premier League club Kilmarnock, notching up seven appearances.
The attacking midfielder is currently undergoing a trial period with the Eredivisie giants in hope of earning a contract.
And De Boer is hopeful of bringing the youngster to the Amsterdam Arena on a permanent basis after witnessing him in action for Villa reserves last year.
He told De Telegraaf: "He is close to a deal.
"He's a good player. But it's not only about the two per cent of the time you have got the ball during a game. The 98% you don't have the ball is more important. And I think he has to develop that side of the game.
"Harry will go with Jong Ajax (Ajax's reserve squad) to a training camp in (Dutch region) Zeeland. After that we will make a decision. But it surely looks good."

    Tevez - praised by Johnson.
TALISMAN TEVEZ WORLD CLASS - JOHNSON

Adam Johnson hopes Carlos Tevez will remain at Manchester City, but understands the Argentinian's reasons for wanting to leave.
Tevez has told the club of his desire to leave so he can be nearer to his young daughters, who live in his homeland.
City thought they had reached an agreement to sell the striker to Brazilian club Corinthians earlier this week, but the deal fell through and the 27-year-old's future remains uncertain.
And England winger Johnson told Sky Sports News: "I hope he is (with the club this season) as he was our talisman last season scoring all his goals.
"A number of times he carried us in games with his goals and individual brilliance.
"Obviously he has his own reasons for what he is doing at the minute but he is a world class player and whatever he does I wish him all the best."
Roberto Mancini's side have been linked with a move for Tevez's compatriot Sergio Aguero and Johnson believes acquiring the Atletico Madrid man would be a great move for the Blues.
"He is world class," he said. "It would be great if he came and added to the squad we have. I watched him in La Liga over the last two seasons and he is an outstanding player."
