    Hugo Rodallega: Happy, says Whelan
    WIGAN TO FIGHT FOR RODALLEGA

Wigan are ready to hand Hugo Rodallega a new deal to keep him at the club.
The Colombia striker will be the most high-profile name left at the DW Stadium once Charles N'Zogbia completes his move to Aston Villa.
And Latics owner Dave Whelan is keen to avoid losing another star before the new season starts.
"We'll be talking to Hugo when he gets back from the Copa America, and as far as I know he's happy here. We'd like him to stay," Whelan told the Evening Post.
"We've not had an offer in for Hugo, and I would imagine Roberto Martinez will be keen to get something sorted on that one. We do not want to be selling him, though - absolutely not."
Rodallega has scored 22 goals since arriving in Lancashire in January 2009, and the 26-year-old has been linked with Arsenal and Everton.

    Petrovic: Heading for Ewood?
    PETROVIC LOOKS SET FOR BLACKBURN

Partizan Belgrade midfielder Radosav Petrovic appears to be on the brink of a move to Blackburn after talks with Vitesse fell through.
The 22-year-old looked destined to join the Eredivisie side this summer having passed a medical in Arnhem, while a reported fee of three million euros (£2.7m) had been agreed.
However, negotiations over a potential five-year contract collapsed, opening the door for Rovers to make their move.
Vitesse technical director Ted van Leeuwen admits the Dutch club now look likely to miss out on the youngster's signature, with Steve Kean's side close to completing a deal after reportedly tabling an offer.
He told Omroep Gelderland: "It looks like a deal will be made (with Blackburn), so it will be hard for us."
Petrovic, capped 18 times for Serbia, has established himself as a key player in Belgrade since his 2008 arrival.
He would be Rovers' first major signing of the summer.

    Leroy Lita: Swansea bid accepted
    SWANS HAVE LITA BID ACCEPTED

Premier League new-boys Swansea have had a bid accepted for Middlesbrough striker Leroy Lita.
The two clubs have agreed a fee of £1.75million for the former Reading frontman, who will now meet Swans officials to discuss personal terms.
The 26-year-old has just 12 months remaining on his contract at the Riverside Stadium, where he's scored 20 goals in almost 80 appearances.
But, speaking to The Northern Echo, Boro manager Tony Mowbray said there's a long way to go before the move is finalised.
He said: "Leroy was going to see what was on offer. It's not cut and dried, not at all. We have agreed a fee with Swansea. It doesn't mean much
"I've had a good chat with him. He has a chance to play in the Premier League and good on him. His talent has earned him that chance. If he comes back then I'm sure he will work hard to get in this team."

    Tim Cahill: Ignores transfer talk
    CAHILL FOCUSED DESPITE SPECULATION

Everton midfielder Tim Cahill insists the players will not allow speculation about their futures to affect preparations for the new season.
Summer signings are proving hard to come by for manager David Moyes and some of the Barclays Premier League's bigger clubs are looking to take advantage of that by prising away some of the Toffees' top stars.
The club rejected a bid from Arsenal for Phil Jagielka last week and the likes of Marouane Fellaini and Jack Rodwell have also been linked with moves.
Cahill, about to enter his eighth season at Goodison Park, has seen and heard it all before.
"I never focus on speculation and I never invite it," the 31-year-old Australia international told the Liverpool Echo.
"If a club wants you they will come and buy you. If they don't want you, they don't want you.
"The best thing about this club is the relationship with the manager. We stay honest by him, and he stays honest by us.
"We let everyone else deal with the speculation and we just concentrate on our football.
"We have long-term contracts and we are paid to play. I have learned over the years that it is important to have respect for the football club, because of how much the fans and the club puts into us."
