DJ Campbell: Set for QPR move
    BLACKPOOL ACCEPT QPR'S CAMPBELL BID

Blackpool have accepted a bid from QPR for striker DJ Campbell.
Barclays Premier League new boys Rangers have been linked with a move for the 29-year-old this summer, reportedly offering £1.25million.
The club said in a statement on their official website: "The club have had a bid for Blackpool striker DJ Campbell accepted by the Seasiders.
"The Tangerines frontman, who scored 13 goals in 31 appearances in the Barclays Premier League last season, will now discuss personal terms with the Rs over the coming days, ahead of a potential move to Loftus Road."

    Andre Villas-Boas: Not happy.
CITY ARE TITLE CONTENDERS - AVB

Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas accepts Manchester City will be real contenders for the Barclays Premier League title this season after splashing out to land Sergio Aguero.
The Argentina striker joined City from Atletico Madrid on Thursday in a deal reported to be worth around £35million to add to a squad already bursting with world-class talent.
And Villas-Boas believes Roberto Mancini's side, who finished third last term, will be a serious threat this campaign.
"I think it's pretty clear that they are building a squad to fight for the title," the 33-year-old said ahead of Chelsea's clash with Aston Villa in the final of the Barclays Asia Trophy tomorrow night.
"It's for Mancini to say what his objectives are but my personal perspective is that they are making good signings and that they can threaten for the league."
The former Porto coach feels the 2011-12 title race could be the closest yet.
"I think Man United as the title holders will be a reference for everybody but you can see the amount of activity Manchester City have had in the market. It's pretty clear they have a title objective as well," he said.
"Liverpool did more or less the same, Tottenham want to get back into the top four so they'll be challenging and Arsenal are always a threat - we haven't seen the last of them in the transfer market - so everybody is strengthening and as long as everybody feels happy with what they have, everybody competes in a different way."
In contrast to City, perennial big-spenders Chelsea have - so far - been unusually quiet this summer despite seeing most of their rivals invest heavily in new players.
The Blues have yet to make significant moves despite being heavily linked with moves for Tottenham's Luka Modric and Javier Pastore from Palermo, instead focusing on bringing in younger players like Oriol Romeu and Thibaut Courtois.
"It all boils down to the evaluation period, there's still plenty of time for those decisions," added Villas-Boas.
"The players that we have shown interest in are young and looking to the future of the club, you might see similar moves in the future from us. It is one of the oldest squads in the Premier League, we respect them and we are happy enough with the quality that we have to challenge for the title but we are also looking into the future.
"We are so comfortable at the moment with what we are getting because of the young players we have. Things for the future are brighter for us in that respect."
Two of those young stars, Daniel Sturridge and Josh McEachran look set to be more involved in the first-team this season under the Portuguese boss.
"I wouldn't like to focus on an individual but I think Daniel deserved above all to come back to this club and have this pre-season with us," he said.
"This is the group where he belongs and I think he has shown the quality he has at Bolton when he went there. He has a natural ability and amazing physical qualities and I think he is showing what he did at Bolton was enough for him to make a point at Chelsea.
"For Daniel, his time at Bolton was an amazing period for him, based on that he got into the England Under-21s for the European Championships and he is again a great prospect, I have no doubt about it.
"We will make a decision soon and we will inform Daniel on his situation but I think he has shown a lot of his qualities and abilities and he has the capacity to be in this squad.
"I spoke to Josh at the start of the season about where he felt best on the pitch. The position six for me is a very, very important position and I know that Josh touches more of the ball in that position and likes to organise play.
"But he also likes to face the play more often and he has the vision to see people in attacking options and it's good for me to test him as a number eight, further forward. He has the tactical and technical ability to fulfil both positions."

    Wenger: Looking for swift buisness.
    WENGER WANTS TRANSFERS DONE SOON

Arsene Wenger intends to get all of his remaining transfer business done "sooner rather than later" as he fine tunes Arsenal's preparations for the new campaign.
While the future of captain Cesc Fabregas remains uncertain, with Barcelona looking to push through a deal to take him back to the Nou Camp, Wenger has plenty of irons in the fire.
Arsenal have already brought in £11million Ivory Coast forward Gervinho, and are understood to be close to an £18m deal for Valencia midfielder Juan Mata, while bids for Everton's England centre-back Phil Jagielka and promising young Costa Rica forward Joel Campbell are also on the table.
More exits are also expected, with striker Nicklas Bendtner on the verge of a £9m move to Sporting Lisbon, while Emmanuel Eboue is reported to be ready to join Galatasaray, which should help offset any outlay on new signings.
"Business will be done sooner rather than later," Wenger said at tonight's news conference ahead of the Emirates Cup.
"At the moment you have two categories of movement, one from zero to 10 million, and one from 30 to 50 million.
"We are in between, and in between nothing happens at the moment, there has been very little movement.
"All the clubs who live from the money which football generates do not buy.
"The only clubs who buy at the moment in Europe are ones who buy with money which is not generated by our industry."
Wenger added: "There are two categories of club - those who travel with sweat and those who travel with petrol. We are those who travel with sweat.
"I am very happy with the way we do things and with the players we develop, with what we try to achieve.
"Unfortunately last year we finished with a bitter taste in our mouths, but we know we were very, very close so we want to come back this year."
Wenger maintained it was "difficult" to talk about potential transfer targets - even if rival clubs do not show the same respect to Arsenal.
On Mata, he commented: "I like the player, but that does not mean we will buy him."
Wenger also insisted there was "not a lot to say" about Arsenal's interest in Jagielka, with one £10m bid already rebuffed.
"The player is under contract at Everton. If we want to buy a player, we need first the agreement of the club," he said.
Arsenal midfielder Henri Lansbury has been linked with a move to Barclays Premier League new boys Norwich, where he enjoyed a successful loan spell last season.
Wenger, though, still has plans for the 20-year-old.
"I believe he will make a career and at the moment it is a bit congested for him, but I believe he has the talent to play for Arsenal," he said.
"I have to give him a chance at some stage and as quickly as possible. I believe in him.
"Honestly if I believe he will not play this season or has no chance to compete for a position I will tell him and let him go."

Ola Toivonen: Hints at PSV exit
    TOIVONEN WANTS STRONGER PSV SQUAD

Striker Ola Toivonen has hinted he could leave PSV if they fail to bring in reinforcements to aid their challenge for the Eredivisie title.
The Sweden international, who is contracted in Eindhoven until 2012, has reportedly attracted interest from Tottenham this summer as they look to bolster their striking options.
Liverpool, West Brom and Juventus have also been linked with the 25-year-old, who has previously stated his disappointment at PSV's failure to qualify for the Champions League last season.
PSV have already brought in Georginio Wijnaldum, Kevin Strootman and Dries Mertens this summer but Toivonen has urged coach Fred Rutten to splash more cash.
And the forward admits he only wants to play for a side that are contenders for the title.
"The current selection is too narrow," Toivonen told Voetbal Primeur.
"There is no doubt the club has worked hard to get reinforcements, but I hope all their plans are realised.
"I want to keep playing, but only for the championship."
He added: "Yet much remains to be done before I leave PSV."
Coach Rutten understands Toivonen's concerns and is just as keen to strengthen.
"His ambitions are my ambitions," said Rutten. "I press the manager (Marcel Brands) every day. Already we are on the right course."

    Sebastien Frey: Genoa move
GENOA CLOSE IN ON FREY Italian Serie A. Click here to bet.

Genoa have agreed a deal to sign French goalkeeper Sebastien Frey from Fiorentina, subject to a medical.
The 31-year-old has agreed a five-year contract with Genoa, and will join for an undisclosed fee.
"Sebastien Frey will be the new goalkeeper of The Griffin," said a statement on Genoa's website.
"President Enrico Preziosi has reached an agreement with Fiorentina for the transfer of the French goalkeeper.
"The ratification of the deal will be completed next week after a medical.
"Frey was highly motivated to join the club and strongly wanted to be a member of The Griffin, agreeing to reduce his wages, in order to re-start his career with Genoa."
Genoa will be Frey's fifth Italian club after spells with Inter Milan, Verona, Parma and Fiorentina.
The twice-capped goalkeeper began his career with Cannes.

Steve Eyre: Former Manchester City youth team coach
    EYRE LOOKING FOR RIGHT SIGNINGS

Rochdale boss Steve Eyre will not rule out future loan moves for Manchester City youngsters - but he has transfer targets in "other places" as the new season draws nearer.
The former City youth team coach has added Andrew Tutte and Ashley Grimes, who he worked with at the Premier League outfit, to Dale's squad this summer but he insists future deals will not be "rushed".
"Not to be ruled out," he told Sportinglife.com when asked if he will look to bring in players from the Etihad Stadium.
"But if you're a Manchester City player you should be focusing on Manchester City. They know where I am but they should be trying to make it there as best they can.
"Here is an avenue for them should that not happen and maybe we'll be able to offer them some support in terms of their development with a loan.
"I've got great support from the club. They've brought me up but I won't abuse that and at the same time I will look in a lot of other places other than Manchester City to bring the right players to this club."
Eyre was pleased with Tuesday night's 3-0 pre-season win over West Brom and he says he might not make too many more additions to his squad.
"We won't rush or force it. When you look at what the lads have done here we might not have to look too far if we look at all," he added.
"If anything comes about I'll be ready and will do my best for the club to get the best players to come here."
