SES has posted revenues of 423 million for the second quarter, slightly down from the 428.4 million the previous quarter and 433.8 million in the same period last year.
EBITDA amounted to 310 million (321.5 million and 322 million three and 12 months earlier respectively) and its net profit was 142.7 million (149.4 million, 86 million).
However, its reported revenues in H1 amounted to 851.4 million, up from 844.9 million in the same period in 2010.
EBITDA was meanwhile 631.5 million (632.7 million). SES transponder utilisation was 80.7%, or 1,008 of the 1,249 commercially available, as of the end of June.
SES now broadcasts 220 HD channels across Europe. Furthermore, it reaches 135 million TV homes in Europe, or over half the total, of which 58 million are satellite, 68 million cable and 10 million IPTV.
