Mario Balotelli: Not a fan of Manchester
    BALOTELLI DOESN'T LIKE MANCHESTER

Mario Balotelli has admitted he does not enjoy life in Manchester
The Italian striker is tied to Manchester City until 2015 after joining the club in a big-money deal from Inter Milan last summer.
Speculation over his future continued throughout Balotelli's first season in the Premier League and he has now admitted that he still suffers from homesickness.
While the 20-year-old maintains that he has no problem with manager Roberto Mancini or his team-mates, it is living in Manchester that he does not enjoy.
"I am not well in Manchester, I don't like the city," Balotelli told Sky Sport Italia.
"I'm happy with the coach and within the team, but you can't have everything in life.
"I don't miss Milan, I miss Brescia, my home. I miss my family and my friends, but I think this experience in England will help me grow as an individual."
Balotelli is refusing to make any guarantees about how long he will remain at the Etihad Stadium and admits he would consider joining Inter's rivals AC Milan at some point in the future.
"I don't know if I will stay until the end of my contract," he added. "I'm here for now and then we'll see."
"AC Milan? It's a great club, one day it could happen."

    Jussi Jaaskelainen: Talk denied
    NO JAASKELAINEN WORRIES FOR BOLTON

Bolton manager Owen Coyle has dismissed reports that goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen has rejected a new deal at the Reebok Stadium.
Speculation emerged over the weekend that the Finnish goalkeeper, entering the final year of his Trotters contract, had snubbed a one-year extension on his deal.
It was claimed the 36-year-old, who has been linked with Manchester City and Stoke this summer, had been hoping to agree better terms.
However, Coyle has rubbished such rumours by insisting discussions are still ongoing, and says he remains optimistic of striking a deal.
"I'm very relaxed with the situation regarding Jussi," Coyle told the Bolton News.
"It's like any negotiation, you can't just click your fingers and expect it to be resolved.
"Jussi Jaaskelainen has been outstanding for Bolton Wanderers and Bolton Wanderers have been outstanding for him. That's why it's a very good fit and I don't see that changing."

David Beckham: Linked with return to England
    BECKHAM STILL HAPPY IN AMERICA

David Beckham says he has no regrets about moving to America and reiterated that he would find it difficult to play for any Premier League club other than Manchester United.
The former England skipper is currently plying his trade with Los Angeles Galaxy and insists he is still happy in the United States with his current contract ending at the end of the MLS season.
"I have no regrets," he told Sky Sports News.
"Not one about wherever I have played and whatever I have done, I don't think you can live your life like that.
"I always have to be sure about the decisions I have made. People may think it was the wrong decision for me to move over to America but I am fully confident with the decision I made.
"I was successful in Europe for many years; won many trophies with Manchester United and played at two of the biggest clubs in the world. I was successful at Real Madrid and I needed a new challenge - and I have enjoyed that challenge."
The 36-year-old came close to a surprise loan move to Tottenham last season, but the deal failed to materialise and he now admits a switch to another Premier League would be difficult.
"I have always said that Manchester United is my one love and to play for another Premiership team would be difficult for me," added Beckham.
"We are very happy in America as a family and we have been for the last five years, we love England and we miss it of course but as for myself playing back there? I don't know.
"Things change so quickly and right now I am playing for Galaxy. I will look at myself at the end of the season, see how my body feel sand if I feel good I will continue to play."

Barton: Coyle is a fan of the midfielder.
    PREM TRIO IN FOR BARTON

Arsenal, Tottenham and Stoke have reportedly made enquiries about Newcastle's Joey Barton.
Barton has been made available for transfer by The Magpies after the board's patience finally snapped following his fresh criticism.
Newcastle have confirmed the controversial midfielder can be signed on a free transfer, meaning the club are looking to offload his services as quickly as possible.
Despite the 28-year-old's past, a number of big-name clubs are keen on acquiring his services, with Arsenal, Spurs and Stoke all interested.
Meanwhile, Bolton manager Owen Coyle was quizzed on whether he would like to bring Barton to the Reebok and while he confirmed the midfielder is a talent, he stopped short on confirming his intent.
"He's a very talented player. We know that," Coyle told Sky Sports News.
"There's no doubt Joey will have very attractive offers because he's a talented player.
"We'll continue to bring the right players to football club. Hopefully I can have one or two new faces, ideally before the QPR game, but certainly before the end of the transfer window.
"Every manager is in the same boat. We're trying to improve our squads and trying to do the best business we can for our clubs."

    Leighton Baines: No Jagielka excuses
    BAINES: NO EXCUSES FOR EVERTON

Leighton Baines does not believe Arsenal's pursuit of Phil Jagielka is any reason for Everton to make a slow start to the season.
Arsene Wenger has already had a bid for the defender knocked back this summer but is said to be readying an improved £15million offer.
The hunt for the England international has similar traits to Manchester's City's chase for Joleon Lescott two years ago, which eventually ended in his £22million sale.
It led to a sluggish start to the campaign and Baines is insisting that whatever the club's transfer activity, the players should not allow themselves to be distracted.
"I thought it was a bit of an excuse that we used," Baines told the Daily Mirror. "Joleon wasn't a bad egg or anything like that.
"It was probably the clubs actually who dragged it out to get the best deal for themselves. But we used it as an excuse at the time - some of us.
"We've spoken about it (starting the season poorly) a lot, but we've just got to do it and stop talking about it. It has been an issue.
"But it's down to us to hit the nail on the head this time. We have to do something about it."
Baines and Jagielka have been seen their stock rise substantially over the last two seasons as they produced an impressive level of consistency.
And in the case of the Everton central defender, Baines is not surprised that he is being coveted by one of the Premier League's better teams.
He added: "It's not a surprise to me that a top club would want a player like Phil because he's fantastic.
"He's one of the top three or four defenders that the country's got. It's no surprise. But we'd like to hold on to him if we can."

    Miralem Pjanic: Linked with Tottenham
    LYON WANT TO KEEP PJANIC

Lyon coach Remi Garde has insisted the club are not looking to sell Miralem Pjanic.
Tottenham have been strongly linked with the highly-rated midfielder in recent weeks, with claims he could be the replacement for in-demand Luka Modric.
But, despite reports of a £10million-plus switch to England, Garde insists that he has no intention of allowing Pjanic to depart.
"Mira to leave? I do not think so," Garde told FranceFootball.
"I am not sure if the president has received any genuine proposals.
"But I rely on him very much."
