is sim card dm800hd same as sim mobile phone?

The question is in the title, is it the same sim card?

This for experimental use, erase the phone sim and program or copy several version of image.

hi iis no possible because the sim is developped by dreambox and it is very difficulte for emuling in the clone because it is crypt and for the momment it is a free develloppement at the sim for dream
1. original a dreambox
2 clone made in china
3 clone ferrari
if you are buy a annoter card look in google

Thanks Batmob for your detailled answer, but I tried several word to find only sim card on the web without success, only the Ferrari card wich is very expensive about 40Euros port included (I buy one) but not possible to find simple sim. (same for a mainboard for 800HD)
