    Daniel Ayala: Joins Norwich
    NORWICH COMPLETE AYALA SWOOP

Norwich have confirmed the signing of defender Daniel Ayala from Liverpool on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old Spaniard becomes Paul Lambert's eighth summer addition as he looks to bolster a squad which secured successive promotions from npower League One to the Barclays Premier League.
Ayala joined Liverpool from Sevilla in 2007, but found his first-team opportunities limited at Anfield, and last season spent loan spells in the Championship at both Hull and Derby.
Lambert feels Ayala will add some much-needed depth for the challenges ahead.
Speaking last week to BBC Radio Norfolk, he said: "I just think you've got to have a lot of cover throughout the coming games and a long hard season.
"He's a young player and obviously played against us for Hull and Derby and I thought he was strong and aerial as well, he was somebody we thought could benefit the football club."

Arsene Wenger: Insists he would splash the cash
    WENGER WILLING TO SPEND £40m
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has claimed he would be willing to spend £40million - if he could find the "right players".
The Frenchman is seen by some as being too cautious in the transfer market as the likes of Manchester City and Manchester United splash the cash.
But Wenger has defended his dealings, claiming he would be happy to spend big money if he could get the men he wants.
He told Sky Sports News: "I will pay 30 (million) I will even pay 40 if I find the right players.
"But it's not a question of money, it's a question of quality we find. I think I have a wrong reputation of not wanting to spend money - I do not want to spend money for average players."
He added the club have got plenty of scouts all over the world, saying: "And we are not frightened to spend money when we think it's right.
"Our fans have more reasons to be proud of this club - the values here, the way the club is run, what the club is built (upon) - than being angry with the club.
"Of course we want to deliver trophies, of course we want to win trophies, who wouldn't want (that)?
"But we feel we were very close last year and my regret of course is that we didn't do it but we are battling on all fronts and a bit unlucky on all fronts I think."
Wenger recognises that the club needs unity to be in with a chance of winning any silverware.
"When something bad happens to you there is only one way to respond as a club - with unity," he said.
"Football is difficult enough if you are united. If you are not united, you have no chance."

    Lucio: Two-year extension

Inter Milan defender Lucio has signed a two-year contract with the Italian club.
The 33-year-old Brazil international is set to see out his career at the San Siro after agreeing a deal that ties him to the club until 2014.
"The last piece of bureaucracy has been wrapped up and the contract renewal between FC Internazionale and Da Silva Ferreira Lucimar "Lucio" has been sent to the Italian FA," a statement on Inter's official website read.
"Both parties are delighted to have agreed a two-year extension to the contract signed when the Brazilian joined the club on 20 July 2009 (which was due to expire in 2012).
"Lucio and Inter have already won six trophies together, with the centre-back making 95 appearances (and scoring three goals) until now.
"Added to the other 12 titles won at club and international level, he is one of the most successful modern-day footballers."

Jan Koller: End of his career
    JAN KOLLER RETIRES
Former Czech Republic striker Jan Koller has retired from football at the age of 38 due to injury problems.
Koller, his country's all-time record scorer with 55 goals, quit the international scene in 2009 but continued to play club football and spent last season with French third-tier side Cannes.
He told his personal website: "Stopping my career was unexpectedly easy. I was prepared for a long time. I look forward to what lies ahead in the near future."
The 6ft 7in forward won the 2002 Bundesliga title during his five-year spell with Borussia Dortmund and also had stints with Sparta Prague, Lokeren, Anderlecht, Monaco, Nurnberg and Krylya Sovetov Samara.
