Robben: Keen to extend his stay at Bayern Munich
NO ROBBEN TALKS IMMINENT
Bayern Munich director of football Christian Nerlinger insists the club will not open contract talks with Arjen Robben until at least December.
The 27-year-old Dutch international has become a key figure at the Allianz Arena since signing from Real Madrid in a £22million move in 2009.
The former Chelsea winger's current deal expires in 2013 and he has previously expressed a desire to extend his stay with the Bundesliga giants.
Bayern are equally keen to tie Robben down to a new deal but Nerlinger insists the club have no imminent plans to open talks with the player, instead choosing to focus on their upcoming domestic and European campaigns.
"We have no concrete schedule to pick up contract talks with Arjen," said Nerlinger.
"We are just focusing on the sporting aspects at this very moment. Usually we are going to dig into contract talks during the time of December."
