Roy Keane: Former Ipswich boss
ROY KEANE READY TO RETURN
Roy Keane has revealed he is ready to return to management when the right challenge comes along.
The Irishman, who has been linked with the vacant manager's job at former club Nottingham Forest, has been out of work since being sacked by Ipswich in January.
The 40-year-old admits he has enjoyed his break away from football, but is now waiting for the right opportunity before going back into the game.
"I left Ipswich about eight or nine months ago and it has gone pretty quick, I have to say, and I am hoping the right challenge is around the corner," Keane told Sky Sports News.
"But having said that, I am enjoying my bit of time off because before that I have been involved in the game intensively for 20 years.
"So when you step back you do have to recharge the batteries and appreciate there's more to life than football and that's what I have done.
"But I know pretty sure if the right challenge comes up, I will be ready for it and I will be looking forward to it."
