Barça TV in danger

Barcelona football club's TV channel Barça TV is in trouble. Its managers are considering outsourcing its production and services to big producer laSexta's Mediapro, although for the moment both parties are negotiating the terms of the contract.
Barça TV's workers recently declared that if this happens the football team could lose its quality control over the channel's content, and there could be job losses.
The potential contract between Barça TV and Mediapro is set to last until 2014-2015. The channel's costs are between six and seven million euro each season.
Bad times for sporting broadcasters although on the contrary televised sports are more popular than ever.
