Hello, My is Brill. I have been using avatar 2 with vertical ic for some time now. some weeks back my avatar 2 stopped working. I have been using a smaller dish for my avatar and the dish position is about 27 degree East. I am in Nigeria please I need help

hello friends,
I just acquired an Avatar 2 and you've got the latest firmware New_Dongle_Avatar_2_05012013
and after 3 minutes of running, it stops working.
I turn it off and plug it back and again 3 minutes does not work anymore
I tried previous firmware and all feel the same.
I do wrong?
can you help me please?

I have to buy a new cable RS232?
just buy it and do not know anything about the cable
as if the old or the new?
is black with a blue one side and the other black.
where I can buy new?

pls i just upgraded my AVATAR2 with my old cable of the new New_Dongle_Avatar_2__18012013 but only red light blinks no green light.
do i need to buy a new cable to upgrade it or us it to watch the channels, i leave in Nigeria.
the tutorial on upgrade is confusing is there a different logo.bin file i need to download to use or i just need to buy a new cable for this upgrade, pls help me, maybe im doing something wrong
