Help on Humax IR - ACE

Dear sir,

I have purchased the Humax IR- ACE STB and i am new with this product. I have some problems and the shop where i purchased is not able to solve it. I am from Kuwait. I have checked with your site but i could not find the solution for this.

Problem is :

When i went to set the current local time, it does not give me the option to change the time. it is fixed to 2038 Jan. and in time status i can not select the local time.

My STB status is as under:

Please guide me how to update the date and is there any software update available for this model? if yes, what is correct name for this file. Kindly guide me what should i do? I have done what was possible from my end.

I have checked with them first but i am not able to get the exact file name and software model. That is why i requested here if some body know the exact name and location for the file i will be oblidged.

if your Humax is not listed. then click on other. Your model is OAK model. one you click on other you will find the instruction for the update on the site.

Thank you very much for your consistant help but i have checked all the sources then i came to this resort. If you look at my first post, you will notice that the software verison for my STB is APMW-MFSIR which is not even in others on humaxdigital website. I have communicated with them but they could not help me yet.

So please looking for some one who can help me.

sarhadi, i am wondering if you got an answer for your problem.
i have same problem: i have connected my stb ir-aceII to my laptop using HL-340 (rs232 - usb cable) and using wdn4z.exe i am trying to load MFSIR10024.sdl which seems to be the latest version on this website but it is no communication between stb and laptop. somebody can help me? thank you!

the cable is working because i am using it for download/upload from a echostar receiver to my computer. so, it is another cause:(
