For the beginner:
fritzmon a plugin that incoming calls on the TV is displayed when an NCID-enabled router (eg Vodafone EasyBox) or telephone system or a Fritz box is used. For an incoming call, the plugin tries to perform a so-called inverse search to
www.dasoertliche.de. So try the plugin's name and address of the caller to get from the Internet. This feature only works in Germany and will probably deliver nonsense in other countries (outside of Germany therefore best disconnect in the settings).
Also, the plugin name instead of the number and optionally display a JPEG image. This behavior can be configured in the phone book, which is stored in a section of the configuration file.
What has happened since the last version:
First Adaptation to the new plugin interface version 1.10, so please with firmware version 10 961 20 961 or a later version, or use.
Second The plugin now uses a special mode before it makes a copy (SUBSTATE_PluginPop). So that conflicts between editions of the plugin and the firmware can be prevented.
Third During an output, the receiver may not accept any keystrokes. The output ends after 30 seconds or by pressing the EXIT button.
Important: Beginners should revise the settings in etc / fritzmon.cfg by & see. Either you make the USB stick on the front of the installation (possibly just install over it again), or after installation in / var / etc).
In the attached packet you will find two packages. One is preconfigured for the Fritz box as a router. The NCID for other routers (eg Vodafone EasyBox). So you want a go! Be facilitated.
Thus, the calls can be displayed, you must activate the call monitor function in the router. In a Fritzbox is the easiest, if you choose on a connected phone # 96 * 5 * (96 * 4 * # off). In NCID NCID-capable routers must be turned on. (Call history does not need to be checked)> Switch - Easy on Vodafone router boxes in the Tools menu -> NCID.
These nasty little details about the release can be found in the package and the Readme.txt in the configuration file (fritzmon.cfg).
